I think it's a bit odd that once you've voted it's permanent. Like for instance in the "what skin do you use thread". You can change your skin, but after you've done so your vote on the poll says that you still use the old one. Also on other things on which you've changed your opinion it can be usefull to do this (especially on open polls, or ones in the soap box).

So can't you allow us to change our votes? Or otherwise download a vBulletin app/pack/download so that we can?

That would be a good idea, actually. What if you voted for something on a poll and regretted it? That's what happened to me not long ago.

Agreed as well. Though, I would add, there should be an option for OP to choose (Changeable Answers) or (Permanent Answers). If this is not possible, I don't think it's a good idea to be able to change your Poll option. Some threads rely on the ability to submit a vote and not change it.

Also, for the skins thread, that is a thread that shouldn't be permanent. But that is a different story...

I think it would be a great idea, only if it could be switched on or off by the creator of the poll.

I think it's an awesome idea! Just recently I hit the wrong button on a poll and I think I might've looked lick a dick for it.

Great idea, if the poll's creator can choose whether or not you can change your vote.

Please note: The thread is from 16 years ago.
Please take the age of this thread into consideration in writing your reply. Depending on what exactly you wanted to say, you may want to consider if it would be better to post a new thread instead.
