Being bullied

Everyone know in the U.S. many people are bullied b/c they like Pokémon. I'm wondering, is it the same in Japan? Do they take Pokémon more serious?

This is just my theory, so who knows. In Japan, I bet older kids would get teased or something if they were like a Pokemon otaku. I doubt younger kids would get teased for liking a popular series aimed at kids.

Probably..Pokemon in Japan is better accepted by children, teens and adults then here in America but I don't doubt it that people bully others...not everyone likes the same shit.
