Best Dark pokemon

Statistically, Darkrai is (sadly) the best Dark type Pokemon, hands down. It shouldn't even be a question. It's stats and movepool (damn Dark Void) make it by far the best one.

Legendary Pokemon notwithstanding, the title then falls to Tyranitar. Great stats and movepool, a highly useful ability and some nice versatility make it a rather impressive battler.

Now, if we're talking favorite Dark type Pokemon, then I'll have to go with the Houndour line. Just look at them, demon wolves! What more can you ask for? Absol and Umbreon are pretty high up there too.
 
I'm going to answer assuming you mean favorite, in which case it'd be Absol followed by Mightyena. Surprising, to me at least, as I personally find Gen 3 to be the worst in most areas.
 
It's... a matter of opinion... I think Umbreon is the best, with Darkrai second...
 
This is only a matter of opinion, but in terms of metagame Absol and Umbreon make for the most overused Dark-Type pokemon.

Toss up between Absol and Umbreon(Absol just that tiny bit more). Sableye close behind. Oh well those 3 are all part of my 6 favourite Pokemon :p
