Well, this doesn't need much of an introduction. What is the best FAKE Game? IE. Diamond and Jade, ChaosBlack, ShinyGold, what really won it for you?

Mine was ChaosBlack. ShinyGold a close second, but the Vs. Seeker being the PokéGear? Come on.

Diamond and Jade, they themselves were pretty good games despite the Engrish translation.

For people who don't know, Diamond and Jade where actually real Japanese games in the Telefang series, I believe they were the second in the series and they were really called "Telefang: Speed and Power Version".

I came across this pretty good conversion of FireRed into a remake of Crystal; as a result of computer problems I no longer have it, nor do I remember its name but it's titled "Pokémon LiquidCrystal Version". It's a hack of very high quality (custom music!); methinks it surpasses ShinyGold.

I have only played Quartz and ShinyGold. Both were quite awesome. Especially ShinyGold.

What about that Touhou-Pokemon hack? (It's only available in Japanese, forgot the name of it.)

ShinyGold. Good times. I remember the Sailor's (the one near the Lighthouse) dialogue being glitched up towards the end. I couldn't get into the Lighthouse either.

Huh, I didn't know Diamond and Jade were fake when I bought them
However, when I found out, they were annihilated with a hammer and screwdriver
Despite of this, I did found them pretty entertaining...

*cough* MINE, Pokemon CopperBrown *cough*

Yea, I used to be an awesome ROM hacker.

one my mate (and now I) have on our computers...i can't find it anywhere on the web but it was call gemerald...I lol'd when your starter (theres only one and it looks like a cross between seviper, ninetails and the proper gen 3 starters) learnt the three elemental punches at level 6

Personal favorite is ShinyGold. Though I've heard exquisite things from LiquidCrystal and MetallicSilver. The latter was made with RPG Maker.
