Best Generation when it comes to the Pokémon?

When it's down to what pokémon were introduced in the generation, which is the better?

Gen III. I love all the new Pokemon there. Not just mostly evos or prevos of old Pokemon.

II, Chikorita, Marill, Shiny Ledian, Ledian, Scizor, all other Johto pokémon!

The reason I liked Gen III was because Gen II basically had evos and prevos of Gen I Pokemon, and mainly FOCUSED on Gen I Pokemon instead of Gen II Pokemon like they SHOULD HAVE. Gen III was a fresh new start with almost entirely new Pokemon, and only TWO prevos of old Pokemon.

I just don't like having too many evos and prevos of old Pokemon clogging up space where all-new Pokemon could be. I contend that some of them are cool, but most are weak, dumb, or useless.

Hell no. I love those two. Crobat's on my team every game. I'm talkin' 'bout Lickilicky, Ambipom, the works.

Those 2 are TERRIBLE the only IV Evos that I can look at without wanting to hurt something, Froslass and Mamoswine. The Johto Pokémon were brilliant when it comes to evos and pre-evos

Ah, you forget Gliscor and Dusknoir. Besides, some of the Gen II prevos were unneeded. A prevo for Jynx? Really? Do you REALLY want to go there? And Porygon2 is terrible. Porygon-Z = Win.

I'll give you Gliscor but Dusknoir gets a meh. Smoochum is adorable and Both the Porygon evos are terrible.

PZ can learn Trick Room. BY LEVEL UP. Useful if you're double-battling with Regigigas. As for Dusknoir, it's the perfect wall. Being cute doesn't make yout a good Pokemon, Smoochum.

They didn't back in the good old days and besides Chikorita = Hardest game ever (I should know, I always pick it when playing Gen II)

I like Gen 1, mainly because it set the level that other generations followed. And not every single pokemon had an evolution (or 2), I was never a fan of that. That and I liked the legendaries most in Gen. 1, the birds are my favorite. XD

I always pick Totodile, becuase it's the best. I always seem to pick the Water starters.

I agree, Gen I had good legendaries but Gen II had better ones.

I prefer, once again, the legendaries of Gen III, never mind that it had the most at the time. Deoxys- the first from-changing legendary, Rayquaza, Jirachi, et al.
