From watching many of shiny hunters videos i've seen many of them trying for cool regular id's such as one with 4 3's or lets say one that has 12345 in a row or summit like.

When i first seen people do this i just thought they just wanted an id that looked cool but i've seen many of the say that the id helped them get it or that the id's affect it.

I've looked around and i've found no proof of this whatsoever but yet still people say it and convince others it works.

Pls correct me if im wrong but coool id dont realy help get shinies do they?

and to finish off my favourite id is my current emrald one itss 33388 i love it soooo much =D

Well, the ID no. is one of the numbers that determines whether or not a Pokémon is shiny but I don't think a specific ID no. makes shinies any more likely.

Yeah, what Blaze stated.
It doesn't seem plausible.
Maybe a coincidence if you ask me.

Thanks.

I've seen claims like that and, oddly, I have had quite a bit of luck with shinies in Diamond with the id 55755 which is almost all the same number... but it is more than likely just a weird coincidence.

ID and SID should have no effect on the chance of encountering a random shiny.

When it comes to perfect IDs, I like the number 01000 fixed for Hayley. My own ones have been rather common, but for some reason, I remember both saves' IDs from my Sapphire (37089 and 27038), the one on my older Colosseum save (51717) and the ID of my Platinum (08846).

Basically minulipating IVs is just for coolness or if you want a certain legendary with certain IVs to be shiny.

I did a game of Platinum where I have the ID of 00667 and its IN/SID Combination got me a great HP ICE Shiny Spread which i used for my Shaymin.

Besides 00667 is cool as it just one off of 666

mwahahaha
