Best of the oddballs

i wanna start this thread to discuss some of the wierdest pokemon you've encounterd that you pretty much never see used that show potential

one that i've come across would be Porygon-Z
first off his stats are pretty amazing
high average and a special attack that matches Alakazams
it's ability Download gives it potential to even surpass alakazams Sp atk
it's movepool it amazing
the moves mine knows are Tri-attak, ice beam, thunderbolt, psychic
being able to reach a max of 405 sp atk really gives him potential
not only is he strong but being able to be obtained at lvl 1 is kinda cool

some other oddballs i see potential in are toxicroak, vespiqueen gliscore, octillery, and ampharos

just wanted to know wat other pokemon you considerable oddballs that have potential

 

[Dopey]

Lanturn. One freakin' annoying dude. Take out your opponent's Grasses and/or Grounds(the latter not so important since Surf is STAB) and kill everything by Parafusion mixed with the Surf/Thunderbolt combo.

And, who can forget Rhyperior. Rhyperior.... nuff said.

Altaria is the only Dragon Pokemon in UU. It's outclassed by Salamence (and to a lesser extent, Dragonite), when it comes to sweeping. But it has a lot of support options and can defend itself quite well.

For the record, Porygon-Z was OU until just recently. It's BL now. Gliscor is OU.

Anyway, Jumpluff

is one of the best (and most annoying) support Pokemon ever, in my opinion. Fastest thing under the sun (literally), access to Encore, Memento, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, U-Turn, Toxic, Attract and a plethora of other moves. It's a wonder (and possibly a blessing, considering how irritating it can get) this thing's not used more often.

Also, Meganium

is an excellent team supporter as well. Aromatherapy, Light Screen, Reflect, Leech Seed, Grasswhistle... the list goes on. She, too, should be used more often.

Articuno

is another Pokemon that comes to mind. It is a great defensive Poke with Roost and well placed stats. It could even have been UU if it wasn't for it's crippling weakness to Stealth Rock (which, I might add, is just about the only thing limiting it's use... Goddamn SR)

 

[Battaman]

Bibarel, whit Simple, Amnesia and Curse it's a monster to take down. And it hits hard whit STAB Waterfall and Return.
