What are your favourite moments in the Pokémon games? Is there a particular plot line that really excites you, or a moment that you'll never forget? Leave them here.

For me it's the end of Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Space:
When leaving Temporal tower and the player has to leave, it brings a tear to my eye. Then when the partner is on the beach with Bidoof and just breaks down and cry, i always join them and cry like a baby. I'm 17 years old and this moment has the same affect on me no matter how many times i play the game.

I'd probably have to say when I either first defeated the Elite 4 in Gold or finally completed my Pokédex in the same game. That was back when I could only trade with a couple of friends at school too.

When Rayquaza Hyper Beam the meteor that was crashing down in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red rescue team

Everything that happened in N's Castle.

I second this.

And...well...I also like the part when Lance tells you that the champion happens to be...Blue!(R/G/B/Y)And also the part when you steal Blue's 10 minutes of fame after defeating him.

Isn't there already a thread on this? Anyway, for me its the events that happened in N's Castle. Also, fighting Red on Mt. Silver.

The end of Black/White, where you talk to N after defeating Ghetsis and N is smiling and then he flies away. It was awesome, like the end of a film :D I also liked it cos it was the only end where you beat the game by defeating the bad guy, as opposed to become the Champion. It just felt like a more satisfying end to me :3

The greatest moment in pokemon (has nothing to do with the storyline) was when I was walking along Unova's route 7, it was stormy, and I was all like "Da fauq is with the weather?" Since I hadn't done ANY research on any pokemon games EVER back then, I had no idea that wandering legendaries existed, then I saw Thundurus in front of me and I was all like "OH MAH GAWD A LEGENDARY!" I tried to catch it, but then it ran away... :( (after a couple of days of tracking it down and obtaining a Master Ball, I finally caught it)

The end of Platinum's story, at the Distortion World. It was a mix of triumph, relief, and sadness for me. The worlds won't be destroyed, and Giratina is now the PC's friend. But Cyrus doesn't get handed over the authorities, he stays in the Distortion World, but not before giving the PC a chilling threat as parting words. Even before that was his psychotic villainous breakdown, yelling at the PC and stuff. It scared me dude, especially since I lost to him the first time. It takes a very serious plot for POKEMON of all things to leave me shaken at defeat. Cynthia not helping the PC made me think that even SHE was frightened, since Cyrus yelled at her too. The way the sprites bumped into each other made it seem as if he shoved her against the rock. Creepy stuff.

...I know that's an odd "best moment", but I really loved Platinum's story, and the climatic battle against Cyrus and Giratina was nothing short of amazing and scary at the same time. That's good story-telling.

I think the best moment in Pokémon is either Reshiram/Zekrom breaking into N's throne room, or Rayquaza showing up to save the day in Pokémon Emerald.

I'm joining the group that said "everything that happened in N's Castle". It's safe to say it was the most epic scene in the whole franchise.

Also, walking through the gates before Victory Road in Pokémon Black, and hearing the music progress to become the masterpiece it is at the end. I had the biggest nerdgasm ;__;

When Arceus activates the event on HG/SS at the Unown Ruins (idk the real name). That and the Mystery Dungeon endings. So much purpose and story! N's stuff is cool too, but it makes getting a Zekrom/Reshiram w/ a good nature too time-consuming.

Completing the Regional PokéDex in Platinum. I did a quick trade then trade back on my Brother's DS to get Porygon 2, as I had no-one to trade with and had spent the last few weeks battling random people to find the Pokémon I didn't have pages on yet.

Catching Zapdos and Articuno with one Ultra Ball, and two Ultra Balls for Moltres, in the same playthrough of Red! The chances of that happening are extremely slim.

And that's happened twice, on two different playthroughs. Holy sh*t.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Really Blue and Red made me cry
What is with N's Castle i only felt ...Nothing...
