Best Pre-E4 Ice Pokemon in the Platinum Sinnoh Dex?

I was wondering what Ice Pokemon I should use to combat Cynthia's Garchomp in the Elite Four in Platinum, so I figured you guys would probably have a better idea than my friends.

I think you're better off with Dragon attacks from Palkia/Dialga (if he has em, I dont know)

Or teach a water Pokemon Ice Beam

If you NEED and Ice Type, I'd say Ambombasow, because Sneasel sucks.

...Sneasel/Weavile are both great Pokemon (not opinion-wise, but stat and movepool wise), what are you talking about?

If you're saying Platinum: Mamoswine with Ice Shard, Froslass, Weavile and Glaceon are all good choices.

I dont know, Weaville didnt do well in the E4 for me... Maybe I was just using it wrong, Im pretty bad at the games anyway.

Weavile is an excellent Pokemon, but all of this is beside the point.

You don't need an Ice-type Pokemon to beat Garchomp. An Ice-type move is certainly a good idea, but many non-Ice-type Pokemon can learn Ice-type moves. Any good, well-trained Pokemon with Ice Beam or Ice Punch or something will do just fine.

Palkia/Dialga aren't available pre-E4 in Pt. Only Giratina.

Anyway, all Ice-types in the Sinnoh dex are available pre-E4. Just make sure that you're using them right. Don't put Ice Beam on your Weavile.
