Best Season of Diamond/Pearl?

So I've never watched D/P before. I guess I'm just one of those nostalgia blind fans who prefer the old stuff and refuse to try the new.

Well, until now. I want to see this new series and judge it on its own merits. However, lacking a surplus amount of money at the moment, I'm not sure which part of Diamond & Pearl is most deserving of purchase.

First Season?
Battle Dimensions?
Galactic Battles?


If I remember right, a new box set of Galactic Battles just came out...

So which one would posters here recommend?
 
DP is one long continuous arc with lots of continuity, I would just watch it in order.

Nah, jk, but as Gliscor'd say, the best thing to do is to watch it in order. In that way everything'll become much clearer. ^^

I would watch it in order too, It doesn't matter about watching all of the anime in order because the story is reset after the next season anyway, But if you are watching A whole Arc then your best bet is too watch from the start.
