Best strategy in the Hunger Games?

I really liked it when Katniss cut off the tree branch and let the tracker jacker's loose. I thought that was an excellent strategy, to let nature take care of her enemies for her.

I liked it when they snapped people's necks. Thought that was pretty badass.

I liked Peeta's camouflage a lot, especially in the movie (even if it was completely unrealistic xD).

Culumon thought Beetee from book 2 would be able to kill everyone in a fight culululu~
He is too smart to ever die, culu!

Electrocuting all of his enemies at once has to be a record culu!

Probably stalking people and killing them in their sleep. I didn't see anyone do that.

Beetee did kill everyone in a fight XD

I liked Peeta's camoflauge idea and Rue's jumping from tree to tree thing, both meant they rarely got seen and it meant for Rue that she would be able to get around without being noticed and also meant she could probably see another tribute coming. Peeta's idea's good but only if you got hurt, if you're just doing that in general then it's going to be kinda hard to move.

I really liked how Rue managed to jump from tree to tree unnoticed and Peeta's camouflage. They were really good ideas.

I liked how fox face managed to slowly steal everyone's stuff. If it weren't for the night lock, she could've made it all the way.

I liked Finnick's strategy the best, personally (and I'm not biased because he's so fabulous and my favorite character or anything). Laying low while sticking with the careers and making it seem like you are not a danger at first, then strike at an unexpected moment and take everyone by surprise.

I still think Beetee shocking the shit out of everyone was pretty baller culululul!

Haymitch did a lot of things right. :< 47 tributes later, he defies the Capitol and survives deculu~

I also liked Johanna's strategy- In her first game, she pretended to be weak, which deceived the other tributes.

I think Katniss had the best overall strategy in both books. Her mixed strategy - banding together with those she knows she can trust, screwing over the careers, and managing to survive works out for her in both books.

haymitch had the best strategy imo.... won the quarter quell, then managed to screw over the capitol in the end and is still alive.... that guy knows how to survive :>

She could have made it pretty far, but what could she do if it was down to her and one other?

I think she could have won just by outliving the other; keep running away until they die of hunger, thirst or whatever, or just wait and kill them in their sleep.

But they make bad things happen to people who avoid confrontation...

That may be true, but Foxface was really intelligent and sneaky. I think that she had a really good chance of winning because she was so independent and worked well on her own. Also, she seemed the type who would not hesitate to kill someone in their sleep if she really needed to.
