As you may already know, the Live Caster segment at the end of each BW episode is based on a BW Pokemon debut, and in chronological order - Sandile for BW012, Pansage for BW013, Axew for BW014 (for some reason), Darumaka for BW015, and so on. However, once we get to BW053, the featured Pokemon goes a bit strange...

BW052 - Zebstrika (from BW039)
BW053 - Mandibuzz (from BW043)
BW054 - Scrafty (from BW043)
BW055 - Purrloin (from BW044)
BW056 - Gurdurr (from BW040)
BW057 - Pawniard (from BW040)

So, as the list shows us, BW056 and BW057, which are the Deino and Accelgor episodes, should have aired after BW052, the Alder episode. This is because in BW053-55, the Live Caster segment skips ahead to BW043 and misses out the last three Don Battle episodes. The mega preview at the end of BW048 even had the previewed episodes going in this order; Elesa VS Bianca, Elesa VS Ash, Subway Masters VS Ash and Cilan, Alder, Deino, and then Accelgor. The other three episodes weren't even shown until later. That tells us that the Maractus, Sawsbuck and Gothita episodes all should have aired later on, and were thus brought forward.

Also, seeing as BW057 is set in Driftveil, and so is BW058, the Chili episode, that tells us that BW058 was always planned to air after the Accelgor episode, with presumably the Kami trio episodes and the Clay episode following it.

So, I think the original listing was as follows:

BW052 - Alder episode
BW053 - Deino episode
BW054 - Accelgor episode
BW055 - Chili episode
BW056 - Kami Part 1
BW057 - Kami Part 2
BW058 - Clay episode
BW059 - Maractus episode
BW060 - Sawsbuck episode
BW061 - Gothita episode

So, does anyone agree or disagree with this information?

I should also note that Lilligant had a minor background debut in the Maractus episode, but didn't actually have a significant debut (with Pokedex entry) until the Kami episodes.

I read this on Serebii.net, it's a real interesting theory. Perhaps there is more Team Plasma eps than we know about?

I don't think the episodes were moved around because of Team Plasma references, though - I think other reasons could have caused it.

Hmm, your order makes sense... Best Wishes has gotten to be a strange series of the anime, with the awkward pacing and what-not. Perhaps that IS because of the mixed up order? You've given me something to think about, that's for sure.

It's possible this was done as some sort of damage control for the Team Plasma thing (or just because they decided the episodes would work better in that order for whatever reason in late production), but it's also possible they're just not doing the Livecasters in the exact order the Pokemon in them debuted. I remember there being a few Pokemon already who debuted but got skipped for the LC because there weren't enough clips of them from just the one episode.

It has nothing to do with Plasma, which you'd have known had you actually read that thread you're not doing all that good a job sourcing.

Adamant is correct. The order is not jumbled, and has nothing to do with the skipped episodes. If you have a real complaint, please take it to the Bulbawiki people and not here. Thread closed.
