Best Wishes preview airs, reveals new details: Satoshi, Pikachu officially confirmed

A new preview for Pocket Monsters Best Wishes! has aired and has given some new details about the upcoming anime series. In addition, TV Tokyo's official web site got revamped, and included some extra clips from the series.

Holy shit, Ash has brown eyes! o_O

And as expected, his new outfit resembles the male Player protagonist in the games, with a few altercations.

It looks so naff. The trousers are fine, just the coat looks really out of place on him. It was just the "shock" of seeing him in such a different outfit made me laugh quite hard at how, yes, it's different, but not any more interesting/visually appealing than his last jacket in my opinion. Also, the yellow zip doesn't go well on the blue, it looks really out of place and almost quite tacky. This is all just my opinion of course.

Also his pose, it looks like he's about to Shoryuken someone or at least, it did the first time I looked at it.

Just saw it.

Big eyes threw me off. e_e; A lot, actually.

But anybody else notice the hat-turning might be back? o_O

Nothing. Zero was only questioning why Takoto thought Ash's outfit looked funny. Matter of fact, I'm confused as well.

Knew someone would use that picture.

It took me a bit to figure out what was wrong with Ash's face. But it's his eyes... it's gonna take some time to get used to.

kinda startled me a bit when I saw those eyes.

The outfit doesn't look as bad on Ash as I though it would, but I don't really like the yellow zipper. I'm really gonna have to get used to his eyes...

the white in his outfit caught me by surprize. it's been so long since i last saw any white on him that i was caught off guard by it. love anyways but will take awhile to get used to.

i don't get the problem with his eyes? i thought that was how they always was. always knew that they were brown, but is more pronounce. wondering what they are using to make it like that.

Oh hai brown eyed Satoshi. That's going to take a bit of getting used to. But it wouldn't be the first time this show's character designs have changed (remember how pointy everyone used to be at the beginning of Kanto?).
