I was just wondering how everyone thinks the dub will handle Best Wishes Season 2?
We've had the dub change openings at different points in the 'season' cycle before and the Rival Destinies opening has already aged badly now most of the episodes the clips are from have aired. A change at at BW84 would leave the Rival Destinies opening at 36 episodes, one more episode than the Pokemon World opening lasted, so not totally unheard of. Can anyone otherwise see Rival Destinies staying around until BW96 or so? Or perhaps having the song stay but the clips change once any new Japanese source material comes along?
On another matter (which I'm worried about bringing up), if the return of characters for an anime version of the World Tournament does extend to Misty and other Gym leaders/characters from the original series, how likely is it that they will return to their original dub voices now that most seem to have come back to the TCPi dub? Or otherwise, has it been so long since some of these characters have appeared that it almost doesn't matter who dubs them because no one remembers their original voices?
I'd certainly doubt the dub season will be named Black and White 2, but I'd think they will follow the Japanese promotion of BW2 somewhat. Obviously it would depend on exactly when the US release of the games is, with the BW2 change in the anime happening the Thursday before the Saturday release, so if the gap in the dub airing is different than the gap between the game translations things could pan out differently.
