Best Wishes! Season 2: how long will it take before the dub hit our tv screens?

When do you expect BW85 to air outside of japan, my guest is early 2013 but what do you think and why?
 
I think that the dub is going to get to BW85 by around the fall in order to tie in with the release of B2/W2. If Cartoon Network continues to air one new episode a week, at this rate, they should get to the start of this season two by October, which I think is the month the games are going to come out. Unless they go on another break, I don't see them waiting until early 2013 to start with the season two episodes.

I am not tring to be a smart a..... but why would you say early 2013 when the when black and white 2 come out this fall

1 the anime is used to promote the games
2 gen 6 will start in the fall of 2013
 
The dub episodes are roughly 5-6 months behind when they air in Japan, so at that rate they'll probably come out in November-Decemberish in the English dub, at least. Assuming they don't take anymore breaks.
 
I don't think they will make breaks, they will just follow the current streak and don't make any break between BW84 and 85.
 
It will start on November 3rd, or November 10th if there's a break on a Saturday between now and then. There's no reason to assume otherwise at this point, as it'll more than likely still be considered season 15 of the dub.
 
I'd expect it to start around the same time as when B2W2 come out in english, which it sounds like it's set to do, judging by the above post.
 
Anyone who seriously thinks it will come in 2013 are seriously kidding themselves..

The dub is only 15 episodes behind right now, which is around 4 months so we could be seeing it as early as september.

The question will be will it be under rival destinies or a new season.

I think that the earliest we could expect the dub to air BW85 would be October. September might be a bit too early and I think it's more likely that the B2/W2 games will come out either in October or November. I doubt that it's going to be under a new season. Rival Destinies would only have about thirty-five episodes and most of the seasons tend to have closer to fifty-two episodes than that. Unlike with Sinnoh League Victors, I don't think that they'll change the title. I do hope that they'll update the opening theme since the images are going to feel pretty dated by the time they air BW85.

They will, but remember they aired black and white nearly 2 months before the games actually came out so i wouldn't be surprised to it in late september, tcpi has most likely dubbed every episode of the original best wishes saga, seeing as they get it way way in advance [rival destinies opening proves that] but it will be out before 2013 i can tell you that.

The start of the dub for BW was February 12th and the B/W games came out on March 6th. That's not nearly two months in between those events. Depending on when the games come out, I think that dub would be able to start airing the second season shortly after B2/W2 come out, if not shortly before they come out. Even though TPCI probably has dubbed the episodes of the first season, I don't think that necessarily means that BW85 will air sooner. It's still up to Cartoon Network when to air the episodes in the U.S. and if they continue to air one new episode a week like they have been for the last few years, they shouldn't get to the start of this second season until mid October. I certainly wouldn't be against the dub for the second season airing in September, but i just don't think I still think that it would happen.

The games actually come out this fall meaning november or december, and the dub of the original best wishes will end at late september, so i doubt cartoon network will hold of the show for 2-3 months just for the games, and not the mention the ratings will fall flat since it's repeats..

Since when did fall mean December? Fall/autumn means September/October/November, so I expect BW2 to come out around mid October to mid November.

And no, the dub of Best Wishes 2 won't start two months before BW2 come out internationally. At the rate the dub's going, BW084 will air on 20/10/2012, meaning that Best Wishes 2 should start just in time for BW2 or it will start a few weeks before. So I really don't expect the dub to take any breaks in the near future (especially as they aren't catching up like they were at the end of the last season, as the dub is about 121 days behind nowadays compared to 100 before Season 14 ended).

Why would they? They've got four or five months to announce it, so it's not like they have to announce the release date a given time beforehand. For example, (though this is unrelated), New Super Mario Bros. 2 is coming out everywhere in just under two months time, but the only release date we know of right now is the North American one.

I know that the games come out this fall, although I don't see how that means that they could be released in December since that's winter. When something is suppose to come out in the fall, it usually means that they'll come out in September, October or November. Personally, I think that B2/W2 are going to come out in either October or November. I also don't think that you know that the gap between the dub and the original version is twenty episodes, instead of fifteen. Like GallifreyanGallade mentioned, at the rate that the dub is currently going, BW84 should air on October 20th, meaning that the second season will start on October 27th, which I think will either be shortly before or after the video games are released. I don't know why you keep thinking that BW84 will air in late September. They just aired BW64 last week, meaning that there's another twenty episodes or so before they can get to BW85. There's absolutely no need for Cartoon Network to go on a break when the gap is a bit bigger than it was at the end of the last BW season. I don't think that reruns would hurt the ratings that much, but they definitely won't go a break for that long when there's no need for them to do that.

I don't think that they would have already announced it. It's only June, so they could just spend the next couple of months promoting the games with some trailers. I think it's more reasonable to announce the release date in August or September when it wouldn't be too long before the games com out, as opposed to announcing the release date four or five months before they're available.
