We have Tropical Storm Beta in the western Caribbean. What's this storm might also become a urricane which would break the all time record of Hurricanes formed in one season as the 13th 'cane of the season.

Cool. I wonder how long this will last. Hopefully, people will learn something from this.

At this rate I'm not suprised if we hit theta. Gamma is sure to be around in the next
week or so, but activity seems to be calming a bit, then again you never can tell this season.

Ouch.

What I will say is this. These waters that fueled the hurricanes could have been manipulated-it's not unheard of. If this progresses, and by a slim chance the Greek Alphabet is retired, then what?

Unlikely. And if they do... Well, we could replace them with equivalent letters from Cyrillic (В Ve), Hebrew (ב Beth), Arabic (ﺏ Bā'), Devanagari (ब ba), Hangul (ㅂ pa) or perhaps even the root Egyptian hieroglyph, a house.

OMG BUSHITLER CREATED A HURRICANE WITH HIS GLOBAL WARMING OF DEATH!!!!!!!!!111111111

Quite Frankly, I'm suprised Beta has become a Hurricane. Alpha didn't amount to
much, but Beta is causing some hefty damage. I know they retire major hurricanes,
but what happens when a major Greek Named hurricane becomes retired?
you can't replace that

It would probably just be skipped in future. And as Zhen Lin said, there are plenty of alphabets should we exhaust the Greek one.
