Better sellers of each version pair?

There seems to be some conflicting sources on which of each version pair is the better seller. Does anyone have official data?

Here are my thoughts:

• Red vs. Blue - In the United States, Blue was the better seller, however, not sure about worldwide. Also in Japan what we know as Blue was known as Green there, while Blue was a limited edition there. I believe that Red outsold both Green and Blue in Japan.
• Gold vs. Silver - Silver, mostly due to the promotion of Lugia in Pokemon 2000.
• Ruby vs. Sapphire - Ruby
• FireRed vs. LeafGreen - I have mostly heard FireRed was the better seller worldwide. I wouldn't be surprised since FireRed sounds more masculine than LeafGreen, and that Charizard simply looks more masculine than Venusaur.
• Diamond vs. Pearl - Diamond, for sure.
• HeartGold vs. SoulSilver - SoulSilver, for the same reasons as Gold vs. Silver.
• Black vs. White - So far, it looks like White is selling better than Black.

Does anyone have any actual data though?
