Here's a strategy I've come up with to make Charizard a deadly physical attacker.
Jolly / Choice Band / Blaze
- Fire Punch / Flare Blitz
- ThunderPunch
- Earthquake
- Shadow Claw
252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
I made it Jolly so it can outpace a bunch of Pokemon, with base 100 Speed. Besides, it has a lot of Attack with Choice Band. Charizard doesn't have too many options, so I gave it Shadow Claw, which is excellent for taking out those annoying Gengar, which are usually Modest. Also, to be noted, I prefer Fire Punch over Flare Blitz, because it doesn't bounce back any damage.
I think it's a good Physical sweeper, but it does need to switch often. A major threat for Charizard is Stealth Rock, doing 50% damage. Overall, it's good. Whatcha think?
