I was having a debate on whether this should be here or in the Japan forum... move it if you think it should be in the latter. Thanks!

Anyways, my family was at a Golf Store in Costa Mesa (a highly Japanese populated city near me) and there was a new one that opened up. It's previous owners were Japanese, and they'd been gone a few weeks by now.
They had left 2 boxes overflowing with Japanese novels.
After my mom chatted to the owner about how i'm learning japanese, finished college courses on it, blah blah blah... he told her to take the books or else they'll throw them out.
So they did. They piled all these books into the car.
I sorted through them all, and it's so... japanese. XD Some of them are children's books that i can read without trying too hard, then comes the adult novels where i look at the title and need a dictionary. Lol. But it's amazing how some japanese family could throw all these out! They had left them on the front of curb to be taken out with the trash!
I felt like sharing this experience.
This was just... wow. I have 3 boxes full (we had to get another box to carry the overflow) of Japanese novels, book series, kids books, and even a volume of the Sailor Moon manga! And all the books are pretty old and beat up, but its still really cool!
Anyone else have an experience like this? Or anything close to it?
And what the hell am i gonna do with all these books? XD
