'Biggest dinosaur ever' discovered

"Biggest land animal ever" would be a better description. "Creature" opens up the path to mega-plants and fungi which are far larger than the highest estimates of this dinosaur. Even "animal" ignores that many large whales are still bigger than this thing because the ocean is generally kinder to megafauna than the land. However, that is still a seriously big land animal however much its record is limited.

I just copied the headline but imagine how it would have lived. Wow it would have been so hard to try to find food but then again the megaflora.

I think it depends on your definition of "creature." If you take it to mean organism, then yes, you're right. But I've always taken creature as a slightly more informal version of animal, so I believe it would be the largest known animal to ever live in terms of height/length. In terms of weight the blue whale still has it beat by quite a bit.

Anyway, this is very interesting. Who knows what else we'll find buried in the ground.
