I'm going to have to go with Harley. Paul comes close, but none of the other characters besides marked criminals even compare in terms of pure malice.

I gotta disagree. Harley was a nasty bitch, yes, but Paul is just downright evil, especially after the latest episode and the way he abused Chimchar. And from the looks of things, he might actually try to throw the final battle of the tournament in this week's episode.

Paul, then Harley...then everyone else.

Gary and Drew never did anything to the extreme as the other two.

Thinking about it, it's clearly Paul. But my gut feeling was Drew and you know what they say: Always go with your gut instinct.

Paul might be a dick, but I personally think he doesn't hold a candle to Eusine and his level of dickery. He might not abuse Pokémon, but he definitely abuses people (Raikou special be damned, that was a pod person compared to his series persona) and holds a superiority complex Paul could only /wish/ to have.

No option for Damian? Paul might be an asshole, but he doesn't tell his pokemon to stay in one spot and wait for him, then leaves it behind for good, and just laughs when a situation that will kill said pokemon occurs.

Done.

And Paul > Damian. Sure we all know how Damian treated Charmander once he decided to get rid of it, but we never actually saw how he treated Pokemon while he had them. After this newest Japanese episode, Paul easily tops Damian in this regard, IMO.

Paul has some serious social issues. If this weren't a kids show, I can see him getting physically violent with the main cast, or belittling Dawn in a truly hurtful way.

(Raikou special be damned, that was a pod person compared to his series persona)

Seconded. Eusine is like the "good guy" version of Jirarudan, and I get the feeling even cold, distant Jiri doesn't treat people the way Eusine treated his "friend" Morty. At least he's not as up front about it.

But I'm voting for Paul. Damian x a million. But if they have Paul run off crying for mama the way Damian did, I'll be sorely disappointed.

Harley's probably my second, though. He treats people like garbage. It's a wonder his pokemon haven't picked up on it (but probably they don't care).

Damian has Paul beat for one simple reason. He sat there and laughed at the prospect of his Pokemon dying a slow, miserable death alone because he lied to it. Say what you will about about Paul but I could never see him do that even about the most pathetic Pokemon he caught. Not to mention the little sun of bitch was annoying.

They obviously don't care because they're bitches like Harley himself. XD

Also, I'm voting Paul because yes, he's a complete asshole. But an awesome one. =D

Paul is a pure evil, if team rocket were to recruit him they would actually be feared, i can see him physically beating people up if it weren't aimed for kids, and could be very bitter worse than he is now for some of the things he said that really dig inside, paul = one thing = a complete asshole

Fix'd. Like hell Paul's the type to be anchored to a group, even an 'evil' one. Especially when they're general losers (no offense meant).

And I'd like to remind the folks, if Paul was a complete asshole, would he be respectful to his elders? Or have we forgotten he thanked Professor Rowan for allowing him and Ash to battle in his back yard, with honest courtesy. He's even willing to trade or give away his Pokemon, as we saw with Azumarill.

Releasing them isn't a crime, though yes, his reasons are infuriating to some. Paul merits his pokémon on their strengths and abilities, not their personalities. I could make a comparison to Paul being the president of a big-bang company and his pokémon being the employers: hired for what they can do, fired when they can't do them, and have to maintain professionalism when summoned. =P Gee, but we don't think that because pogeys are likened to critters, not regular people. He's a jerk, but not an asshole.

He's a jerk, but not an asshole.

But calling him a jerk puts him on the level of Kanto era Gary and early Hoenn Drew. Paul is a lot more disagreeable with those around him than they were, even if he shows respect to his elders.

We could go from the pattern of:

Doormat -----> Nice guy -----> Jerk ------> Asshole ----> Evil/criminal

Paul fits in more toward the latter aspect of the spectrum.

Harley IS a criminal! He's a gay!

I go with Shinji - he's most evil from these. Practically only him and Daisuke can be classed as "evil". Other ones are just arrogant jerks.

Harley did trap Ash/Brock/Max in a metal safe and try to carry them away to who knows where before Drew saved them.

Dammit, I agree with whoever said that Dawn's arc really needs her own Harley. The Contests needed that extra villain angle that only he brought to them.

IT WAS HIS TWIN BROTHER EUGENE 8DDDD

I don't see Paul inflicting physical harm on people >_>

BUT EUSINE DOES AS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS SCREEN SHOT.
