I don't think it's supposed to look like that. The age in parenthesis is supposed to be after the name. Is it a glitch?

Its a special character name. More than likely your browser doesn't know how to support those characters. Which browser?

EDIT: Okie. NOW, I get what your talking about. I suppose its a glitch with vB and the language (Arabic maybe?)

Well. If the entire board was in, say, Arabic or Hebrew that'd be correct. The board is doing what is right for the language.

Yeah same here.
I noticed this around 1 AM this morning.

Samething as Insom.

Thanks.

Basically, because Arabic is written Right-to-Left, vB renders that name (and by extension, age) Right-to-Left, but not the ending bracket. Because the rest of the forum is Left-to-Right, this looks odd.

For the geeks, the code probably looks something like this:

[*Name* (*Age*])

The end parenthesis being outside the variable usually shouldn't make a problem, and will make loading a little bit faster, because less has to be determined, but when the variable is in Right-to-Left, vBulletin flips the variable, but not what's outside the variable, resulting in this:

[*Age*) *Name*])

Because vBulletin was made for English forums.

*This post is only my educated guess, and could be completely wrong
