Considering the huge success of the PokeWalker, do you think we'll see something similar as a pack-in? The new characters have a watch-device, but I don't think that would go over so well. An updated PokeWalker would be just fine with me. They did spend all that time on making individual sprites for every species specific to when they are inside the device, so it'd be a shame not to use them again. What do you think?

I didn't really care for the pokewalker (I never turned mine on...) so it would be a waste for me, but overall I really don't care.

Now, I never really used it ever. It would, although, be in popular demand.
But just like pokemon following you in HG/SS, I think it would be exclusive to that game.

Wouldn't that be a bit unoriginal? Maybe they could redo that sort of tamagotchi thing.

You guys don't use yours? It's great for leveling up and finding rare species easily. Heck, I use it everyday for exercise; it's a great motivator. It's just really hard to reach Nintendo's recommended 10,000 steps a day. x___x

Eh, I don't use mine anymore. I have no idea what happened to it. If they're going to do anything with it, they should sell it in shops seperate from the game. The don't need to be wasting money on little pedometers,

Yeah, count me in! Because those who hate the pokewalker, those are the fat guys, those who hate to loose fat.

I've managed to make it almost every day. It is a great motivator. Plus all the rare items you can get. I've gotten choice items and focus sashes.

I would love for them to include it in these games. although they would have to give it some sort of upgrade to make it worthwhile. Maybe minigames or something?

That's a pretty stupid statement, but, I don't really care

I never needed to attain the items or level up my pokemon outside the game really. I have enough copies of gen IV to get any of the items as much as I want really...as for leveling up pokemon...not an issue

It's a novelty, not a necessity.

The reason they included in with HGSS is pretty much the same reason that they included the Wireless Adapter in FrLg: to give the player a little something more than just a remake. The interview they did on Iwata Asks a few months back went into this and it was basically a unified sentiment of "this is good, but what could we do to make it even better". So they crafted these items. The Pokewalker was pretty much an homage to those Pocket Pikachu handhelds.

If it wasn't a remake of a previous game, I don't think the thought would've come up. And you'll discover that none of the new generation games when they release give you anything extra. They probably devote most of their time in getting the game working properply and consider all the new content to be worth it in and of itself. Which I steadfastly agree with. I don't care about some dinky trinket, I care about the brand-new game.

They'll probably bring the Pokewalker back for a glory lap, with all new routes to walk on, and discompatability with the old Pokewalker.

Because Nintendo

Yeah, count me in! Because those who hate the pokewalker, those are the fat guys, those who hate to loose fat.

and you're a terrible person

The Pokewalker seemed more like a commemoration gift due to the remakes and the annivesary of GS.

Pokewalker with a decent battery that doesn't crap out so soon.

Pokewalker with different covers for the different Balls.

Or, better yet, a thingy that lets you connect onto Wi-Fi by plugging into your USB drive. Nintendo already makes them, so stick the starters on there and you're good to go.

I don't think they'll do another thing like the PokéWalker- that's just what I think though, I would like to see more things like the PokéWalker made.
