Just watching the special Iwata Asks currently screening on http://e3.nintendo.com, where Iwata is talking to Konno.

Iwata just seemed to casually mention that the new Pokémon games would support 3DS features like the tag mode (in talking about a bunch of games which would support these features). Only one word for that. Well, two actually.

FUCK. YES.

Now the question is how will Black and White integrate with the new features from the 3DS?

I was flipping right. I knew the C Gear was a 3DS enhanced feature.

What is the 3DS' tag mode all about?

  • Communication can occur in sleep mode, meaning your 3DS systems can communicate with each other without you. Your 3DS can save data from your gameplay and then communicate with other 3DS systems who have data from the same game, sharing content in the process; then, the next time you play the game, you may see something different.
In other words, a lot like what the C-cog can do.

As soon as I saw the 3DS, I already thought "I'm buying that with Pokemon Black D:"

Well it's been said at least twice here, but....

FUCCCK YES!!!!!

Now that's out of my system. This makes it 128% sure that i will buy the 3DS

I don't get the communication during sleep mode thing. Anyway, I saw pictures, and even if that isn't the final design, it looks AMAZING. 3D pictures? That's innovation right there. Very few, if any, devices allow pictures in 3D, so this is a first.

To clear things up in my mind, i must ask if some parts of the game are still workable on the regular ds? Or should i buy a 3DS to work the game right?

FUCK. YES. Almost no other way to describe it.

I don't a lot of other Pokemon games on there. Only the PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure and Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs (Locus of Light/Tracks of Light in Japan).

The thing is that Black & White's boxes show the game has the TWL prefix. DS games have NTR, DSi Exclusive/Enhanced games have TWL and 3DS games have CTR so I don't think it'll be Black & White related.

But i find it kinda disappointing that Nintendo give such a low amount of spotlight to pokémon

What do you mean?
Pokémon is one of the aces of Nintendo so they have to give 'em the spotlight

and then.. FUCK YESSS!
