Aisu looked at his newest book. It detailed Ichigo Kurosaki's fight through the Soul Society to save Aisu's aunt, Rukia. Both of them, along with Sado, Uryu, and Orihime were either dead or disappeared. Ganju had somehow survived by running away and his Seppa. Aisu thought they were all idiots. Who would risk their lives for someone who ran away?

OOC: Basically just post to state where you are (must be in Soul Society) and get ready for the beginning. Yamamoto is still alive right now.
 
Ayo was relaxing in the Third Division floral garden.He basked in the sun,safe in the knowledge that his lieutenant and 3rd seat were handeling todays paperwork.Smiling,the Captain raised a cheese and rice sandwich to his lips and began to chew.
 
Ishimaru was taking a walk around the streets of the Seireitei.
He stood atop a building,gazing around the soul society.
I feel like a snack,he thought.
He leaped off the roof,and began walking down the street.
 
Aisu turned the page of his book to find a green slip of paper. He panicked, threw the book across the room, and yelled "God damn it, Inazuma! Stop doing that!"

He sent a small Ice Kido to freeze the paper, and shattered it. Inazuma appeared beside him without even using Flash Step.

"Huh?"

Aisu gave him an ice-cold stare.
 
Koma was meditating in front of the 8th Division's doorstep, his zanpakuto Kobimaru in front of him. "Koma-taicho!" His lieutenant, Ouko, yelled out, snapping out of his meditation. "Ah, Ouko-chan. What's the matter?" He asked, tired of calling Ouko "Ouko-fukataicho".
 
"Really, what'd I do this time?" Inazuma asked. "You had our 3rd Seat confiscate all my prank papers, remember?"

Aisu sighed. "Oh, yeah. Well, is there any news from the 1st division on Yamamoto's sickness?"

"It's gotten worse. He coughs more than Ukitake now. I'm not sure-"

"Quiet! Do not speak like that. He will pull through."
 
"Yamamoto-soutaicho's condition is worsening." Ouko stated. Koma looked to the sky. "There are times when I wished the past was the present. Unohana-taicho was the kindest of them all..." Koma said, closing his eyes and re-started his meditation, with Ouko joining him.
 
Inazuma lowered his head.

"Sorry, Captain."

As he said this, a messenger appeared in the library.

"Head Captain Yamamoto has died! All Captains and Assistant Captains are to report to Squad 1 Meeting room!"

OOC: Oof, can't remember the name of the place where they were called to in the SS arc...
 
Koma and Ouko looked at each other, and nodded. Ouko shunpo-ed away, while Koma stayed behind to grab his zanpakuto and shunpo-ed as well.
 
Aisu Flash Stepped directly into the meeting room, but Inuzama beat him there without even using his Shunpo.
 
Ouko looked behind her as her captain appeared and strapped his zanpakuto to his left side of his waist. "Ah, Aisu-taicho, Inuzama-fukataicho, so glad you came." Ouko bowed in respect. "Hey, y'all." Koma said, announcing himself.
 
Aisu nodded his head, and Inazuma made a "peace" sign with his index and middle fingers behind Aisu.

"Today is a very sad day," Aisu said.
 
"Tell me about it. Yamamoto-soutaicho, the strongest Shinigami to date, dead." He said, wondering the whereabouts of Ryuujin Jakka, Yamamoto's zanpakuto. It should be placed in the memorium with the other Shinigami Zanpakuto that fought and died to protect Seireitei and Soul Society.
 
"His cough was probably a delayed poison from the Ryoka," Aisu said. "They probably poisoned him with something stolen from Mayuri's lab... damn mad scientist."

Inazuma looked at his captain. "Aisu, stop making false accusations towards enemies long past that have since become friends, even if they have disappeared now. Even Soul Reapers cannot live forever. It was his old age, in my opinion."
 
"Uh, pardon me... but from the records, none of the 'ryoka' specialized in poison." Koma said, referring to Ichigo, Orihime, Uryuu, and Chad.

"And didn't Kurotsuchi-taicho died long before Yamamoto-soutaicho?" Ouko asked.

"Well, I'm glad Kurotsuchi-fukataicho doesn't have to put up with him any more, that sadistic bastard." Koma hissed through his teeth, obviously pissed at Mayuri's treatment towards Nemu.
 
The message fell of the hell butterfly and drifted in the breeze.It settled on Ryo's nose.HE open his eyes with a jolt,snaping upright.He quickly scaned the paper."The Head Captain has DIED!?!"He leapt up,and ran as fast as he could.
 
Aisu looked around. He mentally checked off the Captains that were there... Yoruichi Shihoin, Captain of Squad 2, who returned after Ichigo's death, Hanataro Yamada, Captain of Squad 4, Kona Takashi, Captain of Squad 8, Shuhei Hisagi, Captain of Squad 9, and Jushiro Ukitake or Squad 13. As he looked around, Yachiru Kusajishi, a beautiful young woman, Captain of Squad 11, walked in.

"Sorry if I'm late. I got lost."

"No worries, Yachiru-taicho." Koma said, taking his seat in the 8th Division Captain Chair. He looked around. "Has any one seen Nemu Kurtsuchi?" He asked, looking confused.
