If you can't blog a post in a closed thread, why is the button still there? I know that the button can be removed, as evidenced by the absence of the quote button, but why?

Oh. In that case, it's probably an issue with the blog software interacting with the rest of the forum software. And since that's third-party, we'd have to hack it to fix it.

I think he's asking to just get rid of that button in closed threads like this. If you click it in a closed thread, you get an error.

You're a G-mod. Technically, no thread is closed for you. Which is the error we get (well, as long as you aren't in a forum you mod).

Only regular users. Sine we have the ability to post in closed threads, it works fine for us.
