Snow wished that the memories were far-off enough that she didn't have to dream about them. That day when she found herself pulled into all of this. Yet, the same image was how it started.

She didn't always think about it, no. Especially not at this point in her life.

She also didn't usually have visitors. But, the doorbell pulled her from her dream. Opening her eyes, she got up and walked toward the bell. She was dressed in only a t-shirt and underwear; she wasn't planning on letting whomever it was inside. At least not while the house was in such a disarray.

She punched a key, answering the bell. "Who is it?" Her tiredness echoed in her voice.

@Naoto;

A unique boy stood at the first floor door speaking into the intercom.

He was pale, and looked almost no older then 14 or 15. His hair was dark black, chin length, and curled slightly at the ends. His eyes were blood red, and his pupils were almost cat like.

His garb was quite unique to, choosing to wear a black cloak with the hood up and concealing his face.

"Please let me in." he asked. "I'm an old friend."

Snow activated the camera when the responder said that they were an 'old friend'. When she saw his face, her eyes narrowed.

Picking up her gun from her chair, she took off the safety before buzzing the door open. Normally, she would've been hesitant to let anyone enter disguised in anything, but whatever beast thought it smart to try and goad her by taking his appearance... oh, she had a few choice words for this one when he entered.

The moment the boy came into the house, he would find a gun pointed at the back of his head. "Don't move," Snow cocked back the hammer of her revolver. "Or I'll fill you with silver."

The boy smiled.

"You never do change do you," he chuckled almost nostalgically. "You were never really all that trusting, even when we were kids."

The boy, lowered his hid revealing his full face. "Its been a long time, Snowy." he greeted.

Snow opened her mouth for a moment before clenching her teeth. "You think this is funny, you damn shifter?!"

The boy gave snow a forced smiled, like he was holding back tears...

"Snow please..." he pleaded, his voice trembling. "Your the closest thing I've ever had to a family. It's me, Yuki..."

He tears were now starting to run down his face.

Without even thinking, Yuki quickly lunged forward and hugged Snow.

"Its been such a long time..." He said. "I missed you so much..."

When Yuki attempted to hug her, Snow was quick to kick him back. "Jump at me again and I fire," she said.

Yuki was sent flying and slammed into the wall.

"Wow..." He chuckled. "I can hardly believe you actually ran away from a flock of ducks when we were kids. You've become so brave since then."

Snow's eyes widened before she slowly lowered her gun. "How do-" she looked over the boy's features for a moment before stepping forward. "Yuki...? Yuki, is that you?"

Yuki got to his feet.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you." He smiled. "Snowy, I'm so happy to see you again."

"I don't understand, I... why are you here?" Snow looked around before turning back to him. "Why aren't you...?"

Yuki bit his lip hesitating to speak.

"I'm sure you already know..." He said sadly. "Even a novice slayer would be able distinguish between humans and Non-humans... "

Snow clenched her fist for a moment before looking away. She knew exactly what he was when she saw his eyes. However, she didn't want to believe that he wasn't human anymore. It was... jarring, to say the least.

She was silent for a moment before looking at him. "You're going to have to leave..." she said to him.

"Please, Snow." Yuki pleaded. "I don't wanna be by myself anymore."

"Yuki..." Snow said, pointing to the door. "Out."

"Okay..." Yuki sighed in defeat.

He stopped before the door before turning around.

"Even if you hate me." He smiled with tears in his eyes. "I'll always be by your side." He then walked back out into the cold night.

When the door closed, Snow went back over to her chair, sitting down on it. Clenching her fist, she shook her head, trying to process what just happened.

--

Snow sat down in her car, looking over her phone. A few texts had come in, mostly information on her new target.

Philip Barr, 35. Turned about a month or two ago by some roaming vampires, but the kill couldn't be secured since another hunter went after them. By all accounts, he was a nice guy; a clean record, no complaints, stable job. Had he not ripped out the throats of three people, he wouldn't have even been on Snow's radar.

A good man turned bad. Just like- no. No, Yuki wasn't bad. How would she know that; she didn't even give him a chance to explain himself. Sighing, she picked up her guns before exiting the car.

Walked through a patch of woods...

He had been tailing a Vampire for awhile now, and while he knew some Vampires would slaughter humans for the fun of it. He wouldn't allow senseless murder.

Only take enough to get by! was the motto he preached when it came to feeding. He refused to let anyone die when feeding, and he was very careful with his targets, only choosing wanted criminals and the like. Once he had a quick sip, the authorities could do away with his target any way they wished.

Still, killing innocent people He thought. No way am I letting him get away with this... I'll put him out of his misery.

The Vampire named Philip walked briskly through the dark city streets. His head twitched slightly as he turned a corner, moving down into a neighborhood. He kept his nose in the air, hot on the scent of his next meal.

There was a woman jogging, going toward a park. Her sweat permeated into the hungry Vampire's nose, causing his mouth to water. He knew she would be delicious.

Snow was quick to follow him, walking around the other end of the park. She was setting her sights on intercepting the Vampire before he could deal any further damage.

Yuki appeared before Philip as suddenly as a quick breeze.

"You've made a great mess of things," Yuki mused, "But this is where you die..."
