So, I'm watching The Departed, and thinking "This is an awesome movie!" Then I got to wondering what Bulbagarden's favorite movies are. So, what are they?

Let's see. It might be best to get a list:
-Blazing Saddles
-Young Frankenstein
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail
-The Blues Brothers
-Talledaga Nights

As you can tell, I am a fan of comedy. I will probably be back here with other movies later.

^Talladega Nights... frickin' hilarious, as well as those Mel Brooks classics

I usually love any movie I see, and I never bother to see movies I don't think I'll like, so my list is kinda long. I'll only add a few.

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
The Terminal (Don't ask why)
War of the Worlds(Spielberg's version)
The Benchwarmers
Spaceballs
Christine

Most if not all of those movies on the list I've memorized word for word, lol.

A few of my favorites:
Casablanca
Singin' in the Rain
Aliens
Spiderman 2
The Breakfast Club
Jaws
Pokemon 2000

Note the complete and utter randomness of my list.

Let's see:

-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I, II, and III.
-TMNT.
-Trailer Park Boys: The Movie
-Shaun Of The Dead.
-Fantastic 4 and Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer.
-Hot Fuzz.
-Monty Python And The Meaning Of Life.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey were both ecellent movies. A christmas Story was good as well.

Uhm, let's see...some of my faves are:
-Resident Evil
-Silent Hill
-Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix
-Pokemon: Heroes
-Unaccompanied Minors
-Stay Alive
-TMNT
-War of the Worlds
-Mean Girls
-The Grinch (live action vsn with Jim Carrey)

...those are just a few off the top of my head, and yeah, they're kinda random, lol. But oh well.

For some odd reason, I have a slight obsession with the often-hated 80s movie "Short Circuit."

I also like most of Mel Brooks' material, especially Young Frankenstein, and of course Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Monty Python's Life of Brian.

In no particular order:

  • The Field of Dreams
  • Driving Miss Daisy
  • Monsters Inc.
  • Toy Story 2
  • Mulan
  • LotR The Two Towers
  • Back to the Future
  • Mewtwo Strikes Back
  • Pokemon the movie 10: Dialga vs Palkia vs Darkrai
  • Ghostbusters
  • Ghostbusters II
  • TMNT
  • TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze

/me decapitates Kasumi for the mortal sin committed in the last entry on the list

Everybody knows I love Pokémon Movie *10*, The Rise of Darkrai. I like the eighth, second, sixth and third Pokémon movies, too. I also like many of Adam Sandler's earlier comedies (especially Happy Gilmore) and a great number of Will Ferrell's movies from Anchorman on.

My list is also rather random.

Hot Fuzz/Shaun of the Dead/Run Fatboy, Run (I love my Pegg/Wright movies)
Mean Girls (I don't care what anyone says, this movie is fetch.)
Across the Universe, along with a buttload of other musicals.
The Adventures of Milo and Otis (It's so cute it'll make your head explode.)
Made of Honour (Tiny shorts guy rules.)
Like Nando, Happy Gilmore and also Big Daddy and Mr. Deeds.
Charlies Angels.
Hairspray
Clerks and Clerks 2
Death at a Funeral (The most hilarious movie I've seen in a long time.)

EDIT: ACK! Completely forgot about Mulan! Movies I know word-for-word, Part 1.

-Spirited Away
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail
-Jim Henson's The Labyrinth
-Muppet Christmas Carol
-Indiana Jones
-Ghost Busters
-Back to the Future
-Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie

I can't belive I forgot Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Mr. Deeds, Elf, and Stranger than Fiction

I also really like The Breakfast Club

- The Lion King (my all time favorite!)
- Pokemon Destiny Deoxys (my favorite Pokemon movie, kind of have an emotional attachment to Deoxys, long story)
- Beauty and the Beast
- The Little Mermaid
- Finding Nemo
- basically any classic Disney movie

Final Destination (1-3)
Frequency
Shawshank Redemption
Spaceballs

And almost all comic movies. Iron Man being the top fave at this time.

My fave as a kid was Last Action Hero. I still like it but I no longer consider it a favorite. And my fave Disney one is Bedknobs and Broomsticks though it's not very well known.

I know I'm missing a lot, I just can't think of them atm.
