Borderlands 1, 2, and Pre-Sequel: I got a legendary loot from the wrong enemy

If anyone plays the Borderlands series of games, you might know what this thread is about.

Have you ever got a legendary loot (i.e. Orange in BL2) from an enemy that shouldn't have dropped it? My experience was my first legendary loot. I got a Hornet Repeater Pistol from a Loot Marauder rather than Knuckle-Dragger (the first boss) (sorry if I spelled his name wrong).

Every enemy in the game has a chance to drop every legendary, Knuckledragger just has a HIGHER chance to drop the Hornet.
