The sun was shining down on Wayward Cave as stores began opening all around the city as well as schools, it was a beautiful day one that no one would expect to stand out from any other day. "Hopefully there's someone good enough in this place," Klay grinned, he was standing on top of a tree branch, a grin crossing his face as he looked at Wayward academy, he was starting at this school as a new student from today but school was the least of his worries. "There's gotta be at least someone good enough to make a team with me," he replied before jumping down, scaring a couple of school girls, especially due to the two swords strapped on his back. "What's their problem?" he shrugged and began walking inside the school.

Klaus Negri was heading towards Wayward Academy, but he was actually not planning on actually going there today. He had more important things to do today. Checking around to make sure that no one could see him, he silently went around the perimeter of the school, stopping at a small segment that he liked to call his training grounds, a small back alley of sorts, a portion of the area around the school that no one really went to. Sure, he was skipping school. Honestly, Klaus couldn't give half a damn about school. He saw the entire premise as pointless and trivial.

Meanwhile, Evan was putting up signs, reading "WANTED: Persons with Powers of Supernatural Natures to Form Alliance to Protect Mortals." He had thus far finished covering an entire wall of the school with the posters.
"Excuse me, can you hold this?" Evan asks a passing Klay, handing him a stack of posters so he could take a sip of wizard soda.

OOC: Evan's spell list:
Level i Flare: Shoots out a hoop of fire, about four feet in circumference. It always rolls forward in a straight line at a moderately quick rate, and can go up wall and ceilings. It will burn, but never ignite surfaces it travels on. It can travel on water, in which case it hovers directly above it, but if any more than about 1/4 a cup of water is actually splashed on it, it will dissipate. It otherwise exists for about six seconds, in which time it can travel about 30 yards.

Shocking Grasp: Evan's body becomes charged with electrical energy, allowing him to deliver an electric shock to anything he touches while it's active. This current causes mild burns, but more importantly, stuns anything that touches him for a few seconds. It's still electrical, though, and thus can't travel along rubber or ground, and will affect anyone, friend or foe alike, who is on a metal or wet surface when Evan uses it.

Chione's Spear: Evan produces a spear of ice from mid-air. It's stronger than normal ice, with the durability and sharpness of steel. It won't melt at normal temperatures either, unless Evan lets go of it, in which case it will immediately turn into normal water.

Mass Effect: Allows Evan to reduce or increase his weight or that of anything he touches by 100 pounds or 50% of it's own weight, whichever is greater. He can keep it active for himself as long as he wants. On something else, it's as long as he's touching it, and two seconds after. If the weight is lowered to negative numbers, he can even send objects floating upwards.

Restore: Allows Evan to recover from injuries at a very fast rate. Small cuts, such as from accidently slicing oneself with a knife, take barely a second, moderately deep wounds, such as from getting bitten by a dog, that would leave small scars take about a minute. Larger wounds, such as being impaled, assuming that the user doesn't die from them, take about an hour. The spell also automatically shuts off the subject's pain receptors. The spell has a flaw, however, in that any foreign object will be sealed in the subject. The body will do it's best to route blood vessels and nerves around the object, but it can still pose problems. Also, the spell allows him to reattach lost limbs and bits of flesh, which usually takes a couple minutes to reattach, though limbs will be slightly slow to move for a few hours as the nerves reactivate themselves, as if it had fallen asleep.

Time Fcuk: Allows the user to stop movements in an area of up to a 30X30X30 foot cube. Inanimate objects within the area lose color. Wind stops blowing, and things that were falling stop in mid-air The effect is dispelled by life energy, so it doesn't work on living beings, or objects in direct contact with them. So, a bullet shot into the field would stop in mid-air as soon as it entered, but someone could still swing a baseball bat at him, unless they were wearing gloves, in which case they couldn't move the bat unless they removed the gloves, causing it to touch their skin. Further, objects within the field become indestructible. The user must concentrate to keep this up, however, and thus, any action that requires much more thought than walking will dispell it. Further, a skilled life mage can negate the effect entirely, though it's very tiring. To activate, it requires the user to utter a chosen phrase. In Evan's case, it's "Time be still!"

Explosive Runes: The user can scribe a rune on a surface, which explodes any time the caster wishes. The rune can look like anything (In Evan's case a stylized skull,) can be written in any material, from lemon juice to dirt to ashes, and can be programmed to explode at any time, such as when the mark is crossed out, on a certain date, whenever. It is impossible to accidentally set a rune, since the caster must concentrate on the conditions for explosion to set it.

Mage's Eye: This spell allows the user to sell their spell slot in exchange for the eye of a demon. This allows the user to know the location of a person or object, so long as they have a way of distinguishing it from all others. For example, the if the user knew a person's face, so long as the person didn't have an identical twin, they would know the exact location of the person. And if there was a specific piece of jewelry with a unique engraving they had lost, they would know it's exact location too. However, if they are looking for an item, and only know that it's that sort of item, the spell will only tell them the location of the nearest object of that sort. So if the caster of this spell was looking for a lost baseball, and only knew that it was a baseball, the spell would direct them to the nearest baseball, even if it wasn't that specific one. Finally, the spell has a second use: At will, the user can slow their perception of time to a halt. In this state, time has essentially stood still, for them and the world around. The user can't move in this state, but can still see and think. This allows them to even in the middle of battle get their bearings and plan an attack. A good analogy would be pausing a game to think of a plan. You can't move, and the world doesn't seem to, but you can think and see what's happening. Note that this state usually can only be kept up, at most, one millionth of a second, which the user would percieve as a whole day. This function can be used with the first function to see the location of objects in the middle of battle.

His cards. They work differently, in that each one can only be used once in an hour, and only a total of three in a given hour.
Fission: Allows the user to copy themselves, creating clones. They can create one for each spell they know, and each one must be able to cast a spell. The clones can only use magic, no other supernatural abilities.

Inferno: Summons a gatling gun from nowhere, which fires bullets made of freakishly hot fire, that supposedly comes from hell itself. Not very accurate, but if it hits, it hurts.

Steel Skin: The caster's body is coated in steel, that moves as they do, working as armor. While it can increase the user's weight, it does not restrict mobility.

Animate Dead: Causes corpses to rise as undead for the caster. While they do not wear off, they do start to smell, and finding a way to store them without being asked uncomfortable questions is not easy.

Loaded Dice: Allows him to manipulate fate, in any way, so long as it's small. He can make a banana peel be dropped at just the right time, or manipulate the slots in a slot machine just so, or make a coin toss go exactly the way he wants. He cannot make someone drop dead, or a car crash, or an earthquake happen. It has to be small, something that would normally be mostly just chance.

"Sure," Klay nodded as he read the flyers. "Hey, this is the same thing I'm looking for...sort of," he pointed out while passing through the flyers. He then looked at all the people that were beginning to walk into the school building. "Guess I'll have to go, what's your name?" he asked Evan.

"Evan Nates, Video Game wizard, expert in the occult." Evan says, shaking his hand. "So you're a wizard to?"

Tia walked by the boys, she uninterested in them, as she walked towards the school, not wanting to be late. In the back of her mind, she was reviewing the reasons why she was at Wayward Academy: learn some new PSI-Powers, utilize her old PSI-Powers better and with more control and efficiency, find the family assailent and defeat him/her, then put him/her in the loony bin for what he/she did to her cousin, aunt, and younger sister.

"Talking your thoughts aloud is not usually a good idea." Tia said, turning to Klay.

OOC: Okay, can you guys stop with the thing where you spell the same character's name differently? Kamen, it's Klay. Not Klyde, Klay. They're two different names. It just makes things confusing.

"You can read minds?" Evan asks Tia. "Tell me, do you like to fight?"

"I see. But could you put your swords away somewhere else? It's making people nervous as hell." Tia said, holding up her hand and the swords came out of their scabbards and floated into her hand. "And not usually." She said to the interrupting mage.

"But I don't have anywhere else to put them," Klay pointed out, grabbing the swords. "And they were a gift so I wanna have them close in case someone tries to steal them," he pointed out before noticing she was using PSI. "Hey you're a PSI user, cool have you considered joining a Bounty Hunter Guild?"

"Y'know, if you wore a long coat, you could keep them hidden, and look pretty badass." Evan says. "Wait, you're starting a bounty hunter guild too?"

"I have, otherwise I wouldn't be here." Tia said to the boys. "As for why I'm here, well, that would be explained in the future." She said, then walked off and straighten her glasses.

Jakku walked down a street.
He really had very little idea where he was, but he didn't really care.
One of his eyes opened as he noticed a petty thief stealing a bag.
He threw a kunai from his trenchcoat, pinning the thief against the wall by his arm.
"..."
He wordlessly returned the bag, and then kept walking, now whistling.

"See?" Evan says, watching Jakku run by. "That guy looks totally badass. Hey, bro." He says, turning to Jakku. "Like your moves, you should totally join my team."

Jakku opened both of his eyes.
Aside from one instance, he'd done the entire sequence blind.
"Hm?"
He walked over, hands in his trenchcoat.
A difficult-to-be-possible amount of weaponry clinked inside his trenchcoat as he strode over.
"Depends. What kinda missions are we doing, and how much of a split do I get?"

"Fighting evil." Evan says. "You'll probably get about 50% now. If we get more people, the percentage will drop, but we'll be able to charge more, and the jobs will probably get easier, so it evens out. You in?"

"...Fine. I don't work well in a team, but I'll try for the greenbacks."
Jakku said boredly.
He took out a kunai, spat on it, and began cleaning it with his sleeve.

"So you're a ninja?" Evan asks. "So that means we have a wizard, a shinobi, and a psychic...If nothing else, we're an equal oppurtunity employer."
