Hey guys, I'm new here but don't think I'm just some noob, I'm actually a veteran player training since the RBY generation.

I was curious as to how the two moves Gyro Ball and Punishment are counted, in terms of damage and base power. From what I've seen, the move is stronger on slower pokemon, but if your enemy uses Agility, of if your own pokemon's speed is cut because of paralysis, Cursing, or the Iron Ball hold item, the difference in speed affects the power of the move.

Can anyone tell me the exact formula for these two moves? I'd appreciate it.

Ok, I just got some info from gamefaqs:

Punishment's normal formula appears to be 60+(20*x) with x being the number of stat increments, if the opponent has no boosted stats the base power is 60. A move like Swords Dance, btw would equal two stat increments, so the power would be 100 (not 100% confirmed)

Gyro Ball has a base power of about 25, if the opposing pokemon's speed is double your own the move doubles in power, if the opponents speed is 4x your own pokemons speed, the move is 4x power, etc. This is affected by curse, agility, and Iron Ball, but not by trick room or full incence. The cap appears to be 150.
