"Playing Brawl is a lot like eating a gallon of ice cream. It seems like a good idea at first. But then you get a piercing headache, and the nausea sets in, and you end up puking Rocky Road ice cream all over the place! So my point is, don't play Battle Warriors. Now would you like to join Battle Warriors Club?" -Mr. Tensaided, sponsor of Che Guevara High School's Brawl Club
History
In the year 2015, Xbox, Sony, and Nintendo formed a partnership. At an undisclosed location in the Nevada desert, three people met, over a bubbling cauldron. They put in an Xbox, a Playstation 2, and a Super Nintendo. Then they began to stir, chanting. Andrew House, the head of Sony's video game division, slit his finger, dripping blood into it. Shigeru Miyamoto, the mastermind behind Mario, the Legend of Zelda, and Pikmin, snipped off a bit of his floopy hair and stirred it in. And Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft Studios, deposited the upper half goat into it. The fire flickered purple, and the water boiled off. They peered inside, as eldritch smelling smoke wafted from the inside of the cauldron. Inside, they found a pair of black cubes.
They sought to delve where man should not.
They sought to make the ultimate video game.
They succeeded.
It's now the year 2025. Their video game/console mix has become one of the most popular in existence. Teams compete on a national level, and almost every school has a club. The cubes, called Holodecks, are used to play games of Brawl. Players press a button, and are instantly reduced to electricity, and absorbed into the machines. From there, they are given forms of their choosing, and duke it out in battlefields called Holosseums. The game has completely taken over the world. Entire presidencies have been decided over a game of Brawl.

Plot
Your character is a member of Che Guevara High School's Decker club. You and your friends arrive at the club one day to find your sponsor, Vice Principal Sephiros, has gone missing. In his place is a letter.
"Dear Che Guevara Decker Club,
Greattings! My name is Shigeru Miyamoto. You are cordially invited to a tournament on my island. It will be held one month from now, and will be attended by over 100 other Deckers competing for millions of dollars in prizes. Please find enclosed one ticket for each of you.
Love,
Shigeru Miyamoto,
P.S. I've kidnapped your sponsor. If you don't come I'll eat his soul.
Without Mr. Tensaided, there is no club. Also, the principal threatened to expel anyone who refuses to save him.

TL;DR
Brawl
Brawl is a game where to players, called Deckers, use cubes called Holodecks to merge with digital representations of themselves called Avatar and do battle in Arenas called Domains.
Deckers
A Decker is a term for anyone who uses a Holodeck.
Holodeck
Cubes used by Deckers to merge with their avatars. They can vary in size from an inch to six inches, but the average is about two inches in height and can fit in the palm of someone's hand. A Decker can fit as many Avatars as they want into a standard Holodeck, although the ones you've been given for the tournament can only hold one at the start. When a button on the Holodeck is pressed, the user is turned into energy and sucked into the device. There, they take the form of their Avatar.
Holodecks can be used for a lot of things. Usually they are used for Brawl. Other people use them to connect to the internet, using their avatars to log in to chatrooms. Many websites have Holodeck versions of their pages.
Following the ban on guns, various criminal organizations have created hacked Holodecks. These ones force others into them: If the subject has a Holodeck, they are forced into battle, typically with an avatar that has been modified to be extremely strong. Otherwise, the subject is simply trapped in the deck, unable to escape the user's Domain. For this reason, most police departments have their own Decker division.
Domains
Domains are areas created by Deckers, either to battle or just hang out in. Anyone with the right technical know-how can program one. The only limit is the Decker's imagination. Though if they want to use it in battle, it needs to be approved by the Admins to make sure it doesn't give the user an unfair advantage. Approval typically takes a week or so.
Avatars
Avatars are a Decker's representation within the Domain. People use them to battle or just talk with friends over the internet. Deckers can either download ones made by other people, or if they're good with computers, can submit a custom made one to the Admins. Approval takes a day or two.
Admins
Employees of Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft, these people are paid to make sure everything stays fair during Brawls. They're also tasked with approving Domains and Avatars.

Rules
-Keep things PG-13.
-Don't be too serious. There should be some more serious moments, but overall I want a silly, action-parked RP.
-No godmodding.
-No anchovies.

Sign-Ups:
Decker:
Name: Everyone has a name, although your character might go by a nickname.
Age: Preferably high-school age, although you can be a janitor or something if you really want to.
Gender: Male, female, and anything in between.
Appearance: What does your character look like? A picture is worth a thousand words.
Skills: List one thing your character is really good at outside of Brawl.
Bio: Optional. Think of it like a composite history and personality.
Aura: What does it look like when your character enters their deck? Do they turn into blue flames? Do they disintegrate into a bunch of green pixels? Everyone looks different. It has no practical effect, but it looks cool.
Avatar:
Name: What does your Avatar go by? It could be a model number, or an actual name your character has given it.
Appearance: What does your Avatar look like? Go nuts here. Feel free to rip off established characters, lots of Deckers do. So if you want to make your Avatar Goku or Mario, go right ahead.
Weapon: How does your avatar fight? Does it have a sword it swings at opponents, or does it prefer to shoot them with an assault rifle?
Abilities: List powers that your avatar has. This can be things they actively use, such as the ability to throw a fireball or shoot lasers from their eyes, or just passive things they excel at, such as being exceedingly durable or being able to fly.
Weaknesses: List a thing your avatar fails at. This must be something that actively hinders your avatar in battle. No saying that your avatar is really ugly. Stuff like your Avatar moving slowly, or being fragile.

Mine:
Name: Cody Garcia
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Nobody has seen Cody's true face. He always, always, always wears his costume as the mascot of the the Che Guevara Pandas, his school's football team. So he's always dressed as a panda. He is very large, although it's unknown wether it's because he's fat, or just really big. He stands at about 6'2.
Skills: Cody is very agile, due to years as a cheerleader.
Bio: Cody is the president of Brawl club, as he was the one who asked Mr. Tensaided to sponsor it. His hobbies include video games, cheerleading, and writing bad fanfiction.
Aura: Cody turns into a cloud of black sand and flows into his Holodeck.
Avatar:
Name: Kirakuma
Appearance: Kirakuma looks somewhat like Cody. At least, as insofar as Kira has a panda head. The rest of it's body is humanoid, taking the form of a tall, lanky man in a tuxedo.
Weapons: Kirakuma uses martial arts moves in battle.
Agility: Kira is very fast, and can perform a variety of flips.
Air Dash: Kira can move in mid-air, 'jumping' off of it. Using this technique, Kumakira can augment it's already considerable speed.
Perfect Guard: Kira can catch energy attacks, then throw them back at opponents.
Hakumaken: Kira fires a ball of blue energy. It travels quickly, and hurts like hell.
Weakness: Kira can't take a hit. It only takes two or three clean hits to bring it down.
