a discussion of the best television show ever.

I've recently finished the fourth season, and Holy Shit

Gus' death was beautiful. That is how you kill a major character, especially one so dastardly and intelligent.

There are a couple loose ends I can see coming back in the final season. Mike is still alive and very, very dangerous. Walt poisoning Brock can't go unpunished. Hank is snooping around the laundry place, and I'm more than willing to bet Walt and Jesse were caught on tape leaving the building, and if Gus kept any tapes, Walt is screwed.

Walt's character development has been very interesting. The point of the show was to take Hero and make him into the Villain, but they've gone above and beyond that (anyone else notice Walt is wearing the same shirt he wore in the Pilot?)

what do you guys think is going to happen in the final season?

Season 5 prediction:
Mike will learn what happened to Gus and want to get revenge on Walt and Jessie, thus revealing that Walt poisoned Brock. Walt will be the main distributer of methamphetamines and order the murder of Mike and convince Jessie that Mike is lying.

Hank learns that Walt was working in a meth lab, and finally decides to confront Walt on the matter. Walt will murder Hank and leave Marie paranoid, and she'll talk to Skyler (Who has now gained another 70 pounds), which will cause Skyler to threaten to go to the cops. Walt will remind Skyler that she can't and that she is now an accomplice to Walt. Skyler will try to run away with Walt Jr and Holly, but Walt won't allow that, and blackmail Skyler into staying.

Eventually after many breakfastes, Jessie will discover that Walt poisoned Brock, refused to help Jane, and ordered the death of Mike, and will try to get revenge on Walt. Walt will end up killing Jessie, and his cancer will comeback to bite him in the ass and he will die. Flynn will discover about his dad's deeds and will tell future Holly about them over a plate of p-p-p-pancakes at the breakfast table.

Then cut to...
Produced by Vince Gilligan

I think Hank will snoop a bit too much and end up getting killed by a mafioso, or even Walt himself. Skyla will go on ignoring Walter, Junior will learn of his crimes and turn his back on him. I think Jesse will find out about Walt poisoning Brock and I think he'll get captured by police or give himself in, and out of anger he'll tell the cops Heisenberg's identity in exchange for a drastically reduced sentence. Walt will go on the run and the final episode will see his capture.

Just speculation :p

I wanna get this thread more active! Breaking Bad fans unite!!!!!!!!

Reporting in. How do you think Walter will end up in Vermont?

I didn't know you watched the show! Vermont? Are you referring to the opening of S5 where Walter is sat in that cafe with a full head of hair?

I am. So we know that he doesn't get arrested (or at least if he does he escapes), and he needs a gun for something.

Ah ok. It seems like ages since I saw that first episode, I might have to go back and rewatch it. If you're all caught up, we can assume Hank knows that Walter is Heisenberg. I think Hank will confront Walt and maybe get him to turn himself in. Walter at this point is a pretty crazy person so I can see Walt killing Hank at some point before Hank tells the cops. Skyla finds out and goes apeshit, finally decides to call the cops on him and tell them everything if they promise not to charge her with anything. Walt will go on the run for a while, hence the time skip and the hair growth. I could see the finale being a shoot out with Walter being shot by the cops, either that or he gets arrested and doesn't tell them about Jesse. That would be his redemption I think, because it's obvious he cares deeply for Jesse and viewers would be sad to see him arrested or killed if he somehow saved Jesse's ass in the process.

Whatever happens I can see it ending badly for Walt and well for Jesse.

I think the reason he is returning to Albuquerque definitely has something to do with Jesse.

I can definitely see him killing Hank. I think that will be like the final line he crosses to become pure evil. Right now he's mostly evil, but he still kind of has a chance. I think him killing Mike was kind of like when Anakin Skywalker slaughtered the younglings, then his confrontation with Hank will be like Darth Vader's fight with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Then him saving Jesse will be like Vader saving Luke. Then he'll die. The end.

I was with you all the way up until you started making Star Wars references.

Breaking Bad Season 5 Part 2 Discussion - SPOILERS AHEAD!

The last episodes are upon us! So I think we should have a thread to hype ourselves up and discuss the last season of what will certainly go down as one of the greatest creative works in television history!

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT BEYOND THIS POST, SEASON 5B SPOILERS ARE VERY LIKELY.

So guys, what are your fan theories for how it may go down between Hank and Walter?

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part 2 Discussion - SPOILERS AHEAD!

I think Declan or Jesse will kill hank, due to paranoia. Walt would know that Skyler would instantly know it was him, so maybe Walt will kill Skyler. Then he may kill himself from the guilt..... Just a theory.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part 2 Discussion - SPOILERS AHEAD!

I'd like to think there would be a completely unexpected twist, like Skylar arranging the murder of Hank. Maybe something like waiting for hank to visit the car wash, attach an explosive to the car.

Or maybe just some good ol' ricin poison.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part 2 Discussion - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Keep in mind that we know Walter ends up in Vermont and comes back a year later. So we know that he isn't going to die as a result of this at least.

I think that Hank is going to keep quiet to Walt at first, but then Walt is going to find out that he knows.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part 2 Discussion - SPOILERS AHEAD!

Hank might not want to believe it at first, writing it off as his mind trying to find loose connections. Some sort of small piece of evidence will present it itself and lead to him believe that Walt is Hisenberg. Hank will ask Gomez to do some snooping on Walt. Walt realises he's being watched and arranges the murder of Gomez. Before Gomez's death he did collect some evidence. Hank takes to the front and confronts Walt, maybe at Gomez's funeral, maybe in a drunken depressed state. He'll say something to reveal himself to Walt, and once Walt knows that Hank has identified Hisenberg correctly, he goes on the run. Not wanting to kill his brother in law, not wanting to shame his family and not wanting to be killed himself.

He takes up a new identity and Hisenberg is gone.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part 2 Discussion - SPOILERS AHEAD!

I think you might have a good point about Hank ordering Walt to leave town if he keeps quiet. Hank is a cop but he's a really good friend of Walt's and I think he'll show him a lot of mercy, in the end anyway. I think Walt will probably agree to leave the family, take his earnings and turn his back on everything. It would beat going to prison and having his kids hate him. I'm interested to know how Skyla will react. She seemed to have gotten more comfortable with who he was after he promised her he would quit the game. I think she could throw a spanner in the works. I sense she's got a wicked side and if she thought Hank was going to go to the police with everything he knows, I could potentially see her wanting Walt to..take care of him, shall we say :B

Either way, i'm confident Walt wont have a happy ending. His character has been built up too much and to be honest, at this point with all the bad things he's done, he's no longer the innocent guy with a good heart. He's pretty much a bad guy in his own right. Jesse on the other hand has remained sweet throughout the whole show and has shown much more remorse for all his wrong doings that Walt has ever shown. I'm confident that Jesse will get a happy ending.
