Breeding. Epic fail on my first try.

Basically I wanted to get into breeding for strong IVs in diamond, but had recently restarted my game. Seeing as I had only just gotten to the daycare, I realized I needed to breed something of low level. I chose a shinx.

I went out and caught a few shinx to look at for breeding. I looked at the stats and the natures they had and then chose the ones that I thought looked the best.

I bred a full box of baby shinx before wondering why I couldn't get a single good one. Then I discovered This site. I was like huh and I plugged my pokemon's stats into the thing to see what it would say.

The first one came out alright with some halfway decent stats so I decided to check its female partner.

Turns out I bred a whole box of pokemon with a mother that had the following IVs:


Hp Atk Def S.atk S.Def Speed
(0-1) (4-7) (12-15) (0-3) (7-11) (6-9)

:complain::complain::complain::complain::complain::complain:
grrrrr.

Anyone else hate breeding right now?

Cool story bro. I beleive I posted that IV calc somewhere in another thread. I feel your pain though because my 80 somthing Milotic in emerald has really bad IV and Ive been using that pokemon since emerald came out for GBA. It's IVs were 4 12 3 2 18 5 lol
