OK, so I hatched 30 Feebas. The mother of every Feebas held an everstone while she was in the daycare. Only one baby Feebas had the same nature as its mother.

I hatched 30 Lickitung. The mother of every Lickitung held an everstone while she was in the daycare.
Not only was every Lickitung male but also not one of them had the same nature as its mother.

The father of all the Feebas was a Seel. The father of all the Lickitung was a Snorlax.

Something's wrong here. This is NOT just bad luck.

Please help! =(

atualy your suppost to give the everstone to a ditto. Theres a 50% chance of the baby having the same nature as the ditto.

empoleon dynamite, that's only if your breeding with Ditto, if it's something like Feebas + Feebas, than it would go to the female.

empoleon dynamite does have a good point though, f you bred with a ditto, than that is your problem there.

Yah, but she didn't breed with a Ditto - she specifically said she's breeding a Feebas with a Seel, and a Lickitung with a Snorlax. And I'm pretty sure that even if she were breeding a female Pokemon holding an Everstone with Ditto, the other Pokemon's nature should still take precedence.

Just because you're breeding with an Everstone, doesn't mean you'll get the nature of the mother (or Ditto) faster. The Everstone just ups the Mother's nature rate to 50%, but doesn't necessarily negate the appearance of the other natures.

Sorry to say, that's pretty much BAD LUCK.

Nope. Breding with Ditto overrides that.

Sixty babies all with dissimilar natures is a probability of 1/2 to the power of sixty, which is about one in 1.152e18, or roughly the probability of winning the Jubilife Lottery four times in succession with only your own ID number. That's really bad luck. You might even say it's improbably bad luck. =)

Having every Lickitung male when there's a fifty-fifty chance there as well only increases the odds.

Well I also heard that the everstone trick does not work for Pokemon of other languages.

Ahhh, I've just realized something!!! Even though my pokemon weren't in different languages, my Feebas was imported from my Sapphire game and the Snorlax belonged to my brother.
Do you think it doesn't work with traded pokemon either?

If they are of the same language, they should not have any trouble with ever stone breeding.

It works for the female Pokemon aswell. If you are breeding with Ditto though, it does not matter what your gender is, the stone will only work for it. I'm guessing this is done for those all-female species and genderless ones that breed with it.

I've been breeding and hatching Mr.Mime for hours. The mother is holding an everstone and I still don't have a female Mr.Mime with a Calm nature. In fact, I hatched so many Mr.Mime that eventually I got a shiny one. Haha, now THAT I'm grateful for.

Yikes, am I late or what. But for anyone who reads this in the future, I
tried to hatch a modest riolu, using the everstone, and after thirty eggs, nothing. Then, out of desperation, I sold my everstone, found another in the underground, and used it instead. And it worked! So maybe everstones have an expiration date?

I dont think the nature thing works, it took me ages to get a feebas with the desired nature the parent with everstone had.

It does, but there are conditions attached. The Everstone has to go on the female, unless you're using Ditto, in which case it has to go on the Ditto. Another, more obscure condition is that this trick won't work if you're breeding with Pokemon that don't originate from games of the same language. I haven't confirmed this myself, but it seems to be generally accepted. While I don't know your circumstances, it's possible that this was your problem.

There is, of course, a lot of luck involved too. I've probably hatched a couple of hundred eggs with this method - mostly Mawile, Miltank, Ralts and Eevee. And I can confirm that the desired nature pops up around 50% of the time. However, I've had runs of maybe ten eggs where none of them has had the right nature. So it's entirely possible just to have a run of very bad luck with eggs.

It was a ditto and a feebas, the ditto had the everstone, and I didn't get the nature until the 29th egg, and even then, the IV's were crap so I had to carry on breeding.

Out of curiosity, where did the Feebas come from? And the Ditto, for that matter? 29 eggs does indeed sound like the natures you were getting were purely random...
