Welcome, people of the Bulbagarden Forums. I invite you to join me in a game. The game is called Bridges, and that is all that you will be allowed to know.
In the game, you will be put on equal footing with everyone else. Your friends, your enemies, the moderators; your status and title mean nothing is this game. Nobody is better than you, and nobody is worse. You're raw, pure, and human. This game is about trust.
Now, I ask you to trust me. This game could potentially create bonds and connections that will never sever, never falter, and never fade. But you'll be put in a position of weakness. This game isn't for everyone.

Hey, everyone. Most of you probably don't know me, unless you hang around in the RP section much. I'm a people person, and so it's been killing me to see how much stress and drama has been filling the air for the past few months. It's almost as if there's been a new hierarchy formed; the moderators, the "famous" users, and the average user. I like to see myself as a user first, and a moderator second. It really pains me to see all of the hurt that's been afflicting some of our members... And I just want to help make this forum a little better, at least for a moment.
So, I've proposed a game. The game is called Bridges. Its purpose is to show you that we're all human, first and foremost. Some of us are smart, some strong, some romantic, some dark, some charismatic, some willful.... I could go on and on. But, these pieces make up each and every one of us. Our deepest imperfections are what make us the most beautiful.
In Bridges, you're on equal ground with everyone else on the forum. That includes moderators. I, currently, am the only one on these forums who knows the rules of the game; and even I am no better off than anyone. In this game, I'll be calling on each of you as people. Work together. Trust each other.
I can't tell you anything about the game until you're already playing, but I can give you a set of rules to follow if you even wish to sign-up. I know some may be uncomfortable being thrust into a position of complete confusion, and so I'll let you know what you need to be prepared for.
1. Treat everyone as if they've been your best friend for life. Trust is everything in this game, and everything will crumble apart if you begin to doubt anyone for even a second.
2. There will be no harm. Never, never, never say anything hurtful whatsoever to another member during the game.
3. Everything that happens in Bridges? It stays in Bridges. I ask you to make a pledge. Never reveal anything about Bridges. Once the game is over, it never happened until you play again, one day. I know this will be difficult to enforce... But, I trust you. And I hope you'll trust me.

If you are interested in participating in Bridges, please sign-up in this thread. Just let me know, and I'll add you to a list on the front page. From there, you'll be put into one of many different groups. The game is best handled when players are in small, tight-knit groups. Each group will have the same task, and there will be no difference between groups other than members and the group name. Each of the groups will need someone who knows the rules, in order to guide the game and give instructions. If anyone in being one of these "Group Leaders", let me know in your sign-up. I would really like responsible, mature members who have proven their trustworthiness to fill this position. I need to know that you'll be dedicated.
