British Game Reporters pick "50 greatest games of all time"

I think Western authors tend to have a wider spectrum of games they enjoy when compiling these lists. I remember reading a Famitsu top 50 games article and saw that most of the titles were RPGs. It certainly did not surprise me of the regional differences extant in gaming tastes. Imagine what will happen when the rest of the world starts demanding for games as well? What will the Russians like? Will they like first person shooters and real time strategy games like us Americans and Europeans? Or will they be more in tune with turned based strategy games or RPGs? How about the Chinese? They seem to love their MMORPGs (cough, gold farmers). What's interesting is that my parents' home country, Korea, absolutely snubs console gaming and prefer to play PC-centric games.

I'm amazed that Pokémon Ruby/Sappire made it into the list. I like this one better than IGN's Top 100.

World of Warcraft... Figures that one would be on the list.

WHAT? No Super Smash Bros. Melee?? This list is officially... D'OH.

At least it had Pkmn Ruby/Sapphire.
