Brock going, Team Rocket staying?

If anybody should be leaving, it's Team Rocket.

Maybe a lot of people loved them, but I didn't. There was always something to find annoying about them.

The way they sound is irritating. The only voice I did like was the post AG James.

Jesse's always sounded annoying[regardless of the voice actress] and James and Meowth spent much of their time with :thumbd: voices.

I'd prefer somebody who can occasionally be funny, but is "tame" a lot of the time, to people who always TRY to be funny, but fail a lot of the time.

They got old in Johtho. After that, they had their moments[such as Jessie's contests, and the various pokemon departure episodes], but they were still stupid and useless.

And another thing: Why does Jessie like her hair so much? It's only slightly better than the horrible hair the GenV girl will have. :disgust:

Team Rocket were designed to be lasting characters anyway. Brock finally got stale and was in need of an ending. That's why he's leaving.

Team Rocket can only get better from here on out. They are finally starting to recieve character developement and Jessie is a worthy coordinator. They still have a lot of life yet.

Not officially, but they were in the leaked animator guide, which is relatively solid proof.

Not exactly. The writers seem to prefer Team Rocket, but why would the people watching the dub prefer them to Brock? It baffles me.:sweat:

i think TR will stay as long as the anime exists, its pretty obvious. I can't think of a good replacement for them.

As for Brock, the writers did some good eps on him early in dp but nothing later on. I mean they are so focused on dawns contests and ash's gyms that the whole show is about battlin and training instead of focusing more on chemistry between the main cast.

Yeah, why can't Team Rocket give up? Catching Pikachu and delivering him to Giovanni wouldn't change any opinion Giovanni has of them cause I'm sure Team Rocket already captured a few Pikachu..........But then again Ash's Pikachu is way more powerful than the average Pikachu.....

I'm aware of the "No voice actors" discussion, but I was just trying to explain why I dislike them. I wasn't intending to get more people to discuss their voices.

I agree with everyone saying that this is just for the dub. The show is made for Japanese audiences with Japanese voice actors. I can see the point your trying to make, but some of these examples just aren't valid.

I'm happy that TR is staying and Brock is leaving. TR still makes me laugh, Brock unfortunately doesn't. And Jessie even got some contest subplot action going on, which I love!
