Brock's eyes

To my knowledge, there have been two instances where you got see to the whites of Brock's eyes in the entire run of the show.
 
I know one was when he had to gruesomely pull them open to entertain Larvitar in the Slowking episode...

When was the other time?
 
They discussed this on the Bulbacast. They said that the other was some wime when something used Flamethrower on him, cause that hardly ever happens. They said he's just squinting.
 
Oh yeah, I think it was the Pokemon Tower episode. His eyes grew big and were like american cartoon eyes.
 
I got the one from the Slowking episode.

Actually, it was during the "Ninja-poke Showdown" episode when Ash won his fuschia badge from Koga. Brock got caught in charmander's flamethrower and his eyes were huge white circles with tiny little pupils. Not unlike the picture above. Murgatroyd has a screen cap of it. I'd post a link, but I've forgotten where it is.
 
It was because of that freak accident involving a spork....

Brock was never the same again.

I always figured, given Brock's darker skin tone, that the eyes were just some way of pointing out he was a foreigner. Kinda racist-ish, but things are different in Japan...

And is anyone shocked Pie has yet to weigh in on this?
