My pokewalker was working perfectly fine last night. Before I went to bed I connected it to my DS and received all the steps and watts I'd collected over the day. I put the 'walker on my desk before I went to sleep, and it was still there when I woke up. But this morning I haven't been able to get it to work. The screen is completely blank. It hadn't fallen or anything during the night, and my sister swears that she hadn't touched it... so apparently it just... stopped working.
I've held the middle button in but nothing appears on the screen. I was hoping that I just had a dodgy battery, but I'm still able to connect it to the DS and save steps/watts/items found. So the only problem is that I can't see the screen at all.

Is there anything I can do to save it? Or, if not, is there anywhere in Australia where I can pick up a new one?

Big W

Edit: If I tried to return it, they'd want to take the entire game, wouldn't they? I'd rather not lose my saved game... but at the same time, I would still trade it in if I could get a new pokewalker.

Edit 2: I've tried shaking it. It doesn't seem to make a difference

hmmm, mash the buttons? seems to work for me when i get a blank screen

Nintendo does sell replacement PokeWalkers for a fee, I could find the link for you if you would like.

^ Yes please. Thank you very much ^_^

I've replaced the battery and it's still not working. =/ I think I've broken it for good.

At the bottom of the page it says "U.S. & Canadian Orders Only" =/ Ah well. Thank you anyway ^_^

Nevermind. I'll just take it back to Big W and ask that they don't replace the entire game. Thanks for your help everyone. =)

Yeah, I'd phone Nintendo first, they might have a spare PokéWalker lying around.
