WiWa Browt, Pombon, or Gecqua?

This thread is regarding Pokémon Wind and Waves outside of spoilers/leaks

Which Winds/Waves starter do you like the most?

I just want to see your favorite Gen X starter(s)! I know the games haven't been released yet, but I'm still curious.

I'd pick either Browt or Gecqua (because I dig Water-type starters), but Browt wins by a slight margin because it's freaking cute!!
 
Right now its my favorite Littlest Pet Shop character Gecqua! on the sole hope that its final evo might be a Poison type lol.

But honestly they've all really grown on me. Browt is cute in a gap moe kind of way lol. Its clumsiness compels me.
 
I'm choosing Gecqua, with Pombon as a close second. Not really feeling for Browt, but at least he's not mean and nasty like charcters from other media with big eyebrows. I'm also glad the fake cow/bat/elephant weren't real, since they all had the same round body shape, and looked too much like monsters from those cheaply made mobile-exclusive Pokemon clones, like Dynamons World or Palmon Survival.
 
Pombon seems to be winning everyone's hearts lol. I wonder if it will end up playing a huge role in the anime because of it. Maybe it is the new Piplup.
 
At the moment, I'm leading towards Pombon, but Gecqua is a close second. Pombon looks really cute and a firey Pomeranian dog sounds so funny. Gecqua looks really cool and cute and I think I warmed up to its design the most out of the three, but I think the fanart really helped with all of the starters for me. Browt is my least favorite, but it's already growing on me. My feelings could definitely change depending on what their evolved forms are like though.
 
I don't really know right now, none of them have really clicked yet...the sugimori art helped a little but not that much. Not even fan art has done much to help yet...

I'm only leaning towards Pombon at the moment mainly because it's my least used starter type and I've been wanting to pick a fire starter again since I haven't picked it since gen 6.

The problem is if Pombon was a regular Pokemon walking around I probably wouldn't give it a second look. :confused_emoji:
 
I guess pombon for know, let's see how I feel when it evolves...
 
Pombom for now, but I'm waiting for starter evos to be revealed for a more defenitive answer.
 
As said in the other thread, Pompon looks to be the choice, but I'm also eyeing Gecqua. I'm not feeling it with Browt, but like with past gen reveals, it will depend on their final evos and the concepts they will embody.

I love lizards so much; this was never a contest. The other two are certainly cute, though!
 
I did not even think to know that my starter for these next games is easily and definitely the dog.

Not because it is near identical to a Cassette beasts character in both design and name, but because I really think the Fire starter might be the only one who would get good evolutions.

I also kinda feel the Fire starter is the most original concept of the set in terms of the previous starters we have. We already have a flightless bird Grass starter and a salmande Water starter.

And looking at the trailer I feel like it's going to be much easier for me to find the other two types than Fire, boosting my chance of picking the Fire starter.
