Bryan Hitch Updates Ultimates 2 #13 Status

Not an Ultimate MU fan myself, but I know some people here are. And when the last issue of a series is delayed as long as this one has been, it becomes news for everyone.

Bryan Hitch on Ultimates 2 #13's status, in his own words. Also includes the first four pages of the issue inked, colored, and only missing the lettering (unless the first four pages are completely silent...which I doubt).

One of the other factors too, apparently, is the printing and insertion of the eight-page spread which requires much more lead time to produce at the printers than was initially supposed. Even though the issue is pretty much ready for press next week it's going to take about six weeks to print and ship due to these restrictions, I'm told.

I just want it out so I can get the second volume of the series... :/ Looks like I could be waiting until the summer... pity.

Supposedly a large chunk of volume 3 is ready and waiting to go. So it shouldn't be as big a gap between 2 and 3 as between 1 and 2. Madureira's a workaholic, I hear. And by "hear", I mean I'm trying to start a rumor. Because...what else can you use the internet for?

Minor update: Ultimates 2 #13 is off to the printers. Not sure if it's been officially solicited yet, but assuming the printing process goes right, it'll probably see a July release date.
