"Buddy Kill" Prevention

I keep getting booted off of AIM via a DoS attacker called "Buddy Kill". Has anyone encountered this problem and/or found a remedy?

I saw someone like that, I think, Iliketehspacebar by name. What I did was, manage to stay online long enough to add them to my buddy list then block them.

Either they decided to leave me alone, or my method worked.

I had the same problem years back. Damian's solution worked for me, but it took a few tries to stay on long enough before they booted me.

Or if you can, get into your preferences and turn on buddy block. That way any of his clones won't be able to get to you either.
