Now, this thread may seem a bit strange for me to make, since I'm very much in the way of AdvantageShipping (Bugsy/Sabrina). However, you may know that I have a series of fics where I pair Bugsy with one girl from every region. Not only did I make that series as a way to test myself, but also to explore other pairings that might work for everyone's favorite bug catcher.

So! That's what this thread is for! Discussing and sharing ships for Azalea Town Gym Leader, Bugsy! What are some ships involving Bugsy that you think could be interesting?

Speaking for myself... My top 3 for him in no particular order would likely be Whitney, Sabrina, and Roxanne. But let's discuss more!

Oh these scene’s kind of a classic lol
I think Gold can be nice for Bugsy and this chapter was evidence of that.
Although, they probably wouldn’t go out for tea but rather maybe for lunch.

Bugsy/Whitney is probably one of Bugsy's best ships.

Bugsy/Lyra though. I actually haven't seen much of that one!
 
Admittedly, it was a little bit of a self-insert ship for me back then and I still have such a major soft spot for it. I might've been off-base but I always imagined Bugsy as an awkward, kind of shy (until you talk about his interests then he rly comes into his own) but ultimately cute but well-meaning guy. I tended to imagine Lyra as bubbly yet introverted (which surprises people because 'omg you're not shy!') so she appreciates Bugsy's energy :)
 
Bugsy/Viola is a really fun pairing in my eyes.

I personally view it as more platonic than romantic, but I feel Bugsy has this one sided crush on Viola. It's the stereotype of a younger person having a crush on someone older than them. He would likely eventually confess but Viola would've already have noticed it. She'd let him down gently, but she still cares about him a lot and they'd keep their bond as close friends. That's just kinda how I view it.
