With the holiday season upon us, and PPNSteve back from his long sabbatical, Bulbagarden, in conjunction with [HASHTAG]#pocketmonsters[/HASHTAG] and Pokémon Palace Network, are proud to announce the upcoming 2nd season of Bulbacast.

All your favourite cast members will be taking part, and we'd really love to hear your suggestions and opinions so we can make this year's season of Bulbacast really shine.

Look for more updates here on Bulbagarden over the coming weeks, and download past episodes for free from Bulbacast.com, or from the iTunes store.

Who wants a Pie vs. Scott debate cast?

Not me, that's who!

I think if we bring in any debates, it should be the shipping debates. I'm surprised we haven't yet had a major shipping debate cast.

Well finally the original party of four are back in business. Best of luck.

Cool, that makes us sound like characters in a fantasy RPG.

I call dibs on being the fighter with spiky hair and an oversized sword!

Yay!! ^_^

Congratulations everyone.

I'm glad that PPN is back. And now we can have the Bulbacasts again as well. I enjoy listening to the Bulbacasts. And now that I have an MP3 player, I can listen to the BCs any time I want (my new MP3 player can hold up to 1 GB of songs!!). XD

And of course, I'm available if you need someone to be a call-in.

Shipping debates can be hard to do in a live format, simply because a lot of the debates really require that you have your notes on the various relevant scenes handy. Remove that from both sides, and it becomes more a matter of who can lie the most convincingly.

Well, a while back, the other SOVA members were talking about doing a debate with WPM. We were seriously thinking about having a SOVA debate on the Bulbacast or something. We even posted all the main points, with things that we wanted to cover in the debate and use in our counter-arguements.

Though, we never got around to recording the actual debate......

So anyway, I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not. Pie, what's your opinion on that? Would you be up for doing something like this, or are you against it?

Originally, people thought it was a good idea. I forget why. Maybe so that everyone in general would have a better opinion of SOVA, if they knew more about us or something.

I made it clear as soon as he made the initial proposal that I am strongly against the idea of debating with WPM about SOVA. I have every right to be suspicious of his motives in suggesting such a debate, and after his downright harassing behavior towards the campaign in the past I see no reason to feel obligated to such a debate to defend the campaign.

A debate against another person may be a more reasonable idea. However, Lisa, I am going to be frank and honest with you right now: over a certain issue, you have heavily damaged the reputation of the campaign, which was not in good condition to begin with. If you want my honest feelings on the matter, we can discuss it in PM, though I can say right now they are not pleasant.

The fact of the matter is that we are in a much more dangerous spot now than before, and while a successful debate could foster support for the campaign, an unsuccessful one could be a nail in its coffin; and debates often rely more heavily on the quick thinking and persuasive ability of the debators than the material being debated, which means we cannot say with any certain what the outcome will be. We are in a bad situation, and so we can't afford any risky overconfidence.

I wish I could give you a better idea of how we should act. But if I knew that, I'd have long since told such to the members of SOVA. It frustrates me to no end that I know what we should do, but not how. I'm sad to say it, but I think the SOVA campaign has proven I'm more effective as a figurehead than a true leader.

Can't wait to hear the new BulbaCasts. I recently downloaded a couple of them and found them to be quite interesting. I'm very excited at them starting up again. I'll be checking for when the next one will be!

Archaic, the "bulbacast.com" link in your first post doesn't work. It brings up a Cannot Find Server page.

Anyway, I just thought I should mention that. ^^o

I don't know what needs to be said about the Diamond and Pearl games on this cast, though hopefully when it's recorded I can get just a brief a written statement on a few notes if necessary. This would probably be better than me being a call-in, you know.

Also to note that there will be some changes in Bulbacast's format that I will formally announce later this week. Hopefully these changes will help, rather than hurt Bulbacast's current structure.

Hm, changes? Sounds exicting.

And yeah, the link totally doesn't work. >_<

Can't wait, I always loved BC.
