Bulbacast 6 & 7 Comments/Preview & Review Thread

Bulbacast 7 will be recorded today at 6PM EST (11PM GMT). Call-ins are being accepted, so please post in this thread if you are interested. The Bulbacast IRC channel will open one hour prior to recording, at 5PM EST. The channel is located at irc.dejatoons.net [HASHTAG]#bulbacast[/HASHTAG] or, if you prefer, the java chat http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/javachat.php can get you there as well. Also, if you have mIRC, or any other irc clients that are able to connect via direct irc links, here is the direct link to the channel irc://irc.dejatoons.net/bulbacast. EDIT: Recording for Episode 7 will resume next Saturday, at the same time as noted above (hopefully).

well you said i could be a call in so im still in for that. for Bulbacast 6 i liked hearing the ideas about the cross breading and such. That has been talked about since the 1st generation. I remeber having conversations about creating your own pokemon and stuff.

My Thoughts On Bulbacast 6:

This was an excellent episode.

I really enjoyed the parts where you guys were talking about the Spurt opening, and all the 10th Anniversary stuff. It was very well done.


Although, Dogasu was a bit hard to hear. I wonder if it was his mic, or if he just wasn't speaking loud enough?

I just listened to it, and damn...I AM hard to hear. I also talked a whooole lot, and I hope I didn't get on you guys' nerves talking so much.

The discussion was pretty solid, but PPN Steve...please, learn some turn-taking skills. A good 75% of your comments interrupted other people in the middle of their comments, and it really got old after a while.

Just listened to episode 6 and it was pretty damn excellent. Although, IMO, you guys didn't have much to say about the 10th Anniversary. ^^;; Dogasu, you were a little hard to hear, and maybe you kept the mic a little to far away from your mouth, I think?

I've noticed at times you guys, esspecially PPN Steve and Archaic, talked at the same time and it was kind of hard to figure out what you were saying. ^^;;

Well, about Episode 7, I was a caller last weekend (and the only caller, apparently).

I asked two very interesting questions, and from what I heard during the 'cast, I think everyone seemed to like the questions.



Alhough, only a few minutes after my call was finished, and everyone was forced to leave the [HASHTAG]#bulbacast[/HASHTAG] channel for some reason......

I have no idea why, or what could've happened to cause that.


Anyway, I'm guessing they're just gonna finish recording 7 on Saturday, and take some more call-ins and stuff.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong about you being the only one, Lisa. I'm not sure when, but I inputted a question about Manafi and Movie 9, which led to Lucario dressed as Yoda. Don't ask. ;

Aside from the spammers, the actual main section of Bulbacast will be recorded at 8pm EST (1am GMT). No call-ins will be accepted as far as I know. As for the the release date, it should be sometime next week.
