I guess everyone on Bulbacast #6 hasn'tseen THIS:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8372603330420559198&q=spore

yet... (The video is a bit long, but worth it)

That's just this year's/next years technology, just think of what that would do to pokemon in 10 years!

I think in 10 years there won't be "Gotta Catch'em All" as the number of pokemon will be endless if you could crossbreed species.

Uhh...what is this exactly, and what does this have to do with Bulbacast??

Huh? Spore looks like an awesome game, but who says Pokémon's going to turn itself into a copy of Spore?

Technically, if Pokémon was going in that direction, they probably would've already started down the route of Monster Rancher with ways to make crosses of different Pokémon. And, personally, I'm glad that they didn't - because many of the Monster Rancher monsters don't interest me as much as Pokémon do since the Monster Rancher monsters are basically all variations on a much smaller number of themes.

They both have a large number of cool looking creatures, but really, they're two completely different games, and I doubt Pokémon will change its initial vision and design to make another version of Spore.
