Bulbacast Episode 14: Preview and Review Thread

heh. After BMGF's downtime, it's good to know BC was re-scheduled. Now I know why I couldn't get into [HASHTAG]#bulbagarden[/HASHTAG] on Sunday night.
 
Yeah, I have no classes today, so I'll definitely be available for the 'cast, TSS. ^^

And I actually have some pretty good questions this time too. XD


Anyway, I'm interested to see what everyone says in response to my questions.
 
Questions for the cast:

To dispell all rumours that m9 isnt AG, it is. The lastest trailer says it AG, official site for m9 has the AG logo, M9 soundtrack has AG as part of the title.

The Battle Frontier Brain battles end tomorrow, any speculation as to what Satoshi will do after watching Haruka at the Grand Festival? Overall what were your impressions for each of the battles.

English dub run on WB ends next month. In retrospect, was 4kids/WB a good place for Pokemon? Will Cartoon Network have any say in the dub development from now on?

Since we know Diamond and Pearl should be out by the end of the year, what kind of Nintendo Wifi Connection playibility will be in these games? Friend battles? Trades? GBA to DS to Friends trades? Random Battles with people worldwide? 2vs2 friends battles?

Was the Ranger Manaphy trade a good idea? Would require 2 DS's or trade it from a friends DS. Should Nintendo have perhaps made it so you could trade your Ranger Manaphy to Nintendo Wifi and then to your P/D cart or perhaps put it into DS memory somehow and allow a DS cart swap? Or even trade it to a GBA cart by first patching the gba cart to allow manaphy and then gba to D/P.

M9 soundtrack is being released at the end of July. Rumour has it Movie 9 Theme song to be sung by KAT-TUN. Will the m9 soundtrack have a song that will match the greatness of Battle Frontier (Eiga Version) or Chiisaki mono?

Pokemon Chronicles will finally air in North American. Airing too late?

Any thoughts on Pokemon on the Nintendo Wii. Will we see any wireless DS trading to your Wii? Pokemon Online support on Wii? D/P compatibility, GBA compatibility? Pokemon Ranger on the Wii controller seems to be the best idea. Pokemon Snap 2 as well. Could aim the camera and use the trigger to take shots. Zelda has fishing, catching Pokemon via fishing seems likely too. Madden has some kind of throw the ball with the remote, possible to 'throw' the controller to throw your pokeball out and shout the pokemon you want into the controllers mic?

Another Pokemon 3D Mini-movie Announced. Do you think these will ever be released on DVD with 3d glasses similar to Shrek3d DVD? Hints of Porygon like seizures maybe the reason for delaying this release? I've been to a few 3d Imax shows, while is really cool, I always get a headache after them.

Myserious Dungeon has yet another programming problem erasing gba carts now. Rushed game? I never liked the concept.

This is too late for the cast, but wasn't that always the problem?
 
Actually, the Bulbacast wasn't recorded last night, cause a few people didn't show up...... ^^o
 
when is the bulbacast about the mastermind of mirage pokemon going to come out
 
Um......

Well, to be honest, Pokeyung, I really have no idea when that particular episode is going to be recorded.

However, there might be a Special Bulbacast recorded sometime about the Mirage special and all that stuff, but again I don't have the latest information on that or anything.
 
It looks like that we'll have to move Bulbacast 14 until the following Saturday, since it's 8pm and no one is around. We can't do BC14 this weekend due to Pie leaving for Anime Boston. As for the BC on the Mirage Special, don't expect it anytime soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
 
I'm just wondering, but let let me guess, the same thing happened again and no one showed up for the BC? ^^o
 
Actually, plenty of people were around - I'm still sort of confused myself about why we didn't record and when we're rescheduling to.

I went on Skype at like 8:00 or so, and the only person who was on at that time was like PPN and he was away or something (lol).


But, anyway, yeah, it's always confusing with the scheduling of the Bulbacast.

And by the way Pie, if it we have time, I would really like to do another episode of the English Edtion BC. I think we're due for another episode.

Also, seeing that post by MistyLover17 in the anime forum (on page 12 of the "Legend of Thunder Review Thread"), it made me realize that a lot of people like the dub as much as I do. And that just gives me a great feeling. ^^
 
Let me guess... the next EE will cover Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon? (You guys need to get around to doing that, probably.)

So much for being a call-in for BC 14 (I wonder, did you guys have call-ins in this one? Just curious). And I had really good questions to ask as well.



Oh well, we never get much of a notice for the BCs anyway, due to the schedules for them being all messed up and everything. X_X

Which reminds me, I still need to listen to BC 13 before I listen to this one. *goes to download it*

Suprisingly, I liked that episode a lot!!

And watching that one seemed odd to me, since I normally don't watch raw episodes. But, in that case I made an exception (and I will for AG 178 as well). XD
