Yay glad you managed to sort out a kinda compromise
looking forward to Episode 3 now
So group 1 are still trying again at the weekend?

By any chance can I have a list of what was discussed? I'm trying to listen to it right now, but...

Pretty much Heart Gold/Soul Silver stuff and what kind of games should come out in the future. :p

And the old days of pokemon, old rumors involving trucks, and pikachu is confirmed a guy.

Just finally listened to it, and i gotta tell you, i loved the mockery of RPG fans.
"why does he look like a boy?"
i laughed.

This was another one that I had to shut off after about ten minutes.

The three big problems for me were:

- No sense of direction. The conversations were all over the place, with you guys just talking about whatever popped into your mind at that very second instead of actually focusing on a single topic and discussing it as if there was a purpose to your conversation.
- You guys didn't edit the podcast. There were way, WAY too many awkward silences.
- Lack of knowledge. Do some research on Pokemon Rumble, please. Look at YouTube videos, read the game's Bulbapedia article, check out the official site...do SOMETHING. Don't just come to the table knowing little more than the title and what the graphic style is like and go from there.

Also, the DSi can play games from any region, just like the DS "Phat" and the DS Lite can. The only thing about is that's region-locked are the downloadable games; players with an American DSi cannot access the Japanese DSi Ware shop and vice versa.

Dogasu, might I remind you how often you complained in prior seasons as well?

As for your points of bitching this time:

No sense of direction: Let me try to remember the timeline for this cast... Group 1 wasn't able to get their cast complete. I didn't know this until Monday, during which day I was also flooded, so I couldn't do shit, but I did get together a crew of people who said that they could help me the following night. Well, Tuesday I had to work, and then I arrived home and immediately got on skype with the group who I had picked, we discussed what was going on, I mentioned that we had a group who had partially recorded their cast, I mentioned that I didn't want to step on their toes, so we were somewhat limited to what we could talk about, especially considering that we had to rush it because we were trying to get a cast out that another group wasn't able to get out.

No editing: Okay, once again, this cast was not planned until the night before. Likewise, PPN had not planned to edit a cast until we ended up deciding that we needed to make this cast. Just as this cast was rushed, so was the editing. It was edited... quite edited, trust me.

Lack of knowledge: There is some, and there is also some knowledge... but then again you DID admit to only listening to less than one fourth of the cast...

Honestly, I think it turned out pretty good considering... and considering I can remember you complaining during the older seasons... I don't know if anything would make you happy to be honest. Anyways, I just woke up and I need to wake up a little more and get ready to go off to work, so I don't really have much more time to make a reply here... I hope you're happy with future casts, but I'm doubting it.

That's because the prior seasons had their fair share of problems, too.

Bulbacast is a representation of Bulbagarden. And when the Bulbacast is bad, it makes Bulbagarden as a whole look bad.

The reason it seems like I complain so much is because you guys are surrounded by sycophants who constantly tell you how great you're doing. You guys are getting complacent, convincing yourselves that the job you guys are doing is "good enough." And it seems like you guys have lost any desire to better yourselves.

As for your points of bitching this time:

"Points of bitching." REAL mature.

we had to rush it

Why? Why not just wait until you guys could get your shit together before posting? I'm looking at the Bulbacast page and can't find anything about you guys being required to release a new episode every week.

I don't think the fans of the Bulbacast would have minded waiting an extra day or two.

First impressions count. If I feel like I'm wasting my time in the first ten minutes, I have absolutely no reason to stay tuned.

I hope you're happy with future casts, but I'm doubting it.

Continue doing things the way you are and you're right - I probably won't be happy with it. But if you learn to take a critical look at yourselves and open up to constructive criticism, then you could put out a much, much better product.

this is a new team and they may need Experience at this, while some of the older cast members maybe here are trying to help but perhaps are rusty or to busy to devote their full attention at it? although i thoughly enjoy it, great job guys considering the time u had to do this in.

Why do you need a group system anyway? Without sounding critical, the casts of the older seasons where really strong whilst this time it's all a bit hard to listen to with a lot of the new members seeming quieter and unconfident. I know it's nice to get everyone involved, but would merging the groups and trimming down the herd be a good idea?

I know I'll get a lot of resentment for saying this, but so far this season has to be the worst imo ._.

I don't know, even when Bulbacast was in its first season it didn't feel as though anyone was all that inexperienced.

I think I can answer this one. Take a look at the problems that my group is experiencing. Now, think if one group had to deal with that every week for well forever long they have the patience to. How long do you think that would last? This system allows people to take breaks and can also create more flexibility as everyone doesn't have to be on every single cast every single time.
