Hi everyone from the forum staff! We hope you're all having a great start to the week.
In recent months, we have noticed an increase in rhetoric - both offline, and on the Internet - that aims to needlessly target transgender people. As a community that aims to foster an inclusive environment in which all of our users feel welcomed, appreciated, and most importantly, safe, this is something we at Bulbagarden strongly condemn. Given the size of the Pokémon fandom, there are a wide range of people in our corner of the web; many of these users call Bulbagarden home, and trust the community as well as its staff that it will remain a place they can be themselves and feel accepted after a difficult day. This is something we as a team are extremely proud of. We stand with our trans community.
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the community is as welcoming as possible, we would like to remind everyone that no type of hateful remarks, harassment, or discrimination of any sort is tolerated here. If any such comments are made, they will be strictly actioned as per our global rules and involved user(s) will be punished accordingly. Keeping our forums free of such behavior for our wide variety of users, including those who are transgender, remains one of our top priorities.
Our team is committed to making everyone's stay as welcoming as possible, but we recognize that we sometimes may need a little help from our users. As such, we'd also like to remind everyone that if you spot anything which breaks our rules to please report it and not engage. Reporting can be done by clicking the "Report" button beneath each post. The content in question will then get sent to our team for review and will be taken seriously.
Thank you all. Stay wonderful, stay you, and remember that you will always matter to us.
